Japanese e-commerce giant Rakuten accepts now Bitcoin.

The Japanese e-commerce merchant has added to its US site the Bitnet option so users can pay for their purchases with Bitcoin.

Rakuten’s chief executive Hiroshi Mikitani said to reporters last month that the company would soon enroll Bitcoin payment to its main site.

The company has also announced that its German and Austrian units will be integrated with Bitcoin payment options at the second quarter of this year.

Bitcoin trader Kraken is now accepting USD and GBP.

Following its' entry in the Japanese market, the San Francisco based company has partnered with the Luxemourg located PayCash.

28 EU member countries in total will be able to trade Bitcoin in USD and GBP.

Kraken accepts USD deposits only on a limited number of US states as it does not currently target that market.
