“Hey N/N.”
I jumped, dropping my bags, gasping as I looked up, seeing Jared smiling at me, trying not to laugh.
“Jared what the hell! You can’t do shit like that!”
He broke out into laughter as I huffed, bending down and picking up my bags, sitting them on the chair in the corner, walking over to Jared, hitting his shoulder.
“Rude.”
“Sorry.”
“Yeah you better be, after all, I'm the one who does your hair.”
Jared laughed, returning back to his seat.
“What’re you doing here so early anyway? Call time isn’t till six.”
Jared shrugged slightly, pulling out his phone.
“I dunno”
I made a face, biting my bottom lip as I turned towards my bag, opening it and pulling out the pack of gummy worms. I walked up behind him, handing him the gummies.
“Don’t eat all of them before it’s time to do your hair.”
Jared nodded, tearing the bag open.
“Thank you.”
I smiled, shrugging slightly.
“Don’t mention it.”
I connected my phone to my speaker, putting my music on shuffle. Moving around the trailer, I grabbed some things I would need to do Jared’s hair, cleaning up around the trailer. I caught sight of the clock, sighing softly as I walked back towards Jared, tapping his shoulder. He looked up at me, causing me to nod towards the clock.
“It’s about time to get started, want to listen to something of yours?”
Jared shook his head, looking back down at his phone, causing me to nod.
“Okay. Do you want me to wash it?”
“Up to you.”
Jared shrugged, causing me to nod.
“Okay. I guess we can just do that later. If I remember correctly you and Jensen will be shooting in the lake some and then there’s the fight where yall are covered in blood so I’ll just wash it later.”
Jared nodded as I grabbed the brush, brushing through his hair.

Leaning against the wall, I looked up when Marci came up, holding out a bottle of water. I sighed, pushing off the wall and grabbing the bottle.
“Thanks Marci.”
She smiled, nodding as she leaned against the wall beside me.
“I figured you could use one since you’ve been standing over here for over thirty minutes.”
I made a face, tilting my head to the side as I looked over at her.
“Really?”
She nodded, pulling her hat further down her face.
“Yup.”
“Huh.”
“Where’s Lisa? I thought she was working today?”
I shrugged, taking a sip of water.
“I think she called out sick.”
“Who’s doing makeup then?”
“Me.”
Marci gasped, turning towards me.
“What? I thought they had two people for makeup?”
I shrugged, closing my eyes as I leaned my head back against the wall.
“I dunno. Sara was apparently supposed to be covering for An who was covering for Lisa. Ashley is out on maternity and I think Lisa said she’d be able to handle both but since everyone’s freaking disappearing around here they asked me if I’d cover.”
“And you said yes.”
I nodded, crossing my arms over my chest.
“Well I mean there’s not much to do with their hair except style and spray, really not that hard.
“And it’s been a slow week huh?”
I huffed, shaking my head.
“Is this what slow feels like?” “How long have you been covering for Sara?”
“All week.”
Marci sighed, nodding.
“So it’s been a long week then.”
I rolled my eyes, huffing.
“Longest week ever.”
“Makeup!”
I groaned, pushing off the wall and walking towards the set, walking up towards Jared and Jensen, the p.a turning towards me, waving their hand in Jensen and Jared’s direction.
“We need you to add some more dirt and blood to their faces and fix their hair.”
I nodded, looking around my belt for the spray, grabbing it and looking up at Jensen, waving my hand around.
“Do you mind?”
He grinned, leaning down so I could reach his hair.
“How is it we’ve seen you all day this past week?”
I shrugged, spraying his hair and running my fingers through it before I put the spray back, grabbing a makeup brush.
“Dunno. Ask Kripke.”
Jensen whistled as I grabbed his face, turning it to the side.
“What’s got you in a bad mood?”
I added some more blood to the fake gash along his forehead, nodding when I was done, turning towards Jared and motioning for him to the same Jensen had done.
“Nothing.”
I brushed Jared’s hair back, spraying it with hairspray, looking his face over. I nodded, placing the hairspray back on my belt, turning on my heel.
“We’re good here.”
“Thanks Y/N!”
I gave Kripke a thumbs up, walking back towards Maci.
“Think you could cover me for an hour? I need a break.”
Marci nodded, and I thanked her as I took the belt off, handing it to her.
“If you need-” “I’ll call. Go on, we’re good here.”
I smiled tightly, nodding.
“Thanks Marci.”

Jensen and Jared watched Y/N hand her belt over to Marci, Jared scowling as Jensen turned towards him.
“Wonder what’s up with her? She’s like an over excited puppy.”
Jared shrugged, watching Y/N walk away.
“I dunno. She seemed fine yesterday.”
“Maybe it’s cause she’s been doing both hair and makeup this week? Usually it’s broken up.”
“Maybe.”
“Alright boys, you ready?”
Jensen and Jared nodded, turning towards the set.
“Maybe when we finish here you can talk to her?”
Jared nodded as he moved to his marker, looking over at Jensen.
“Yeah.”

“Y/N, Y/N are you in here?”
Jared looked around the trailer, huffing when he didn’t see her.
“Jared?”
Jared jumped, turning as Y/N walked into the trailer, making a face.
“What are you doing here? I thought everyone left already.”
Jared tilted his head to the side, grinning.
“You're still here.”
“Well yeah, I’ve got to clean up and make sure everything’s ready for tomorrow.”
“You’re literally dead on your feet.”
She grinned, shrugging as she started to clean up the trailer.
“Aren’t we all?”
“Yeah, but you especially. You’ve been doing twice as much work this week.”
“It’s my job.”
Jared huffed, shaking his head.
“We can keep going back and forth but I have a plan.”
She turned towards him, making a face.
“Oh really? What kind of plan? Because I still have a lot to do here and-”
Jared shook his head, taking her hand in his and pulling her towards the door of the trailer.
“Nope, not taking no for an answer.”
Y/N huffed, trying to pull her hand from Jared’s.
“Come on J, can’t this wait? This is important.”
“And so is this.”

I gasped as Jared removed his hands from my eyes, looking around. Jared had decorated a section of the set with fairy lights and candles, a blanket laying in the middle with a basket and pillows on top. I turned towards Jared, sighing.
“You did all this for me?”
He nodded, biting his bottom lip.
“Yeah, uh, do you like it?”
I smiled, nodding.
“I love it.”
He smiled, taking my hand in his, gently pulling me towards the blanket.
“Come on.”
I sat down on the blanket beside him, grinning when he played some music on his phone.
“Thank you for doing this.”
He shrugged, opening the basket and pulling the food out.
“It’s nothing.”
“It’s not, but I appreciate it all the same. It means a lot.”
Jared smiled, nodding.
“You know I’d do anything for you.”
“Of course I do, you’d do anything for your friends.”
He shook his head, huffing slightly.
“No, that’s not what I mean. I-I like you. Like, like-like you.”
He turned towards me, sighing.
“And I know you don’t like me li-”
I surged forward, pressing my lips to his. I grinned as I leaned back, shaking my head.
“You totally read that wrong. I like you too.”
He glanced down at my lips before he looked back at me, tilting his head to the side.
“You like me?”
I nodded, smiling.
“Yeah, I like you. Like, like-like you.”
He laughed, leaning down and kissing me.
