John Gorman, p, Vermont River Monsters – Taken in the 31st round in 2015 out of Boston College.  Split 2015 between Rookie and Short Season-A Ball (NYP league).  He pitched out of the pen, and in 20.1 innings allowed 18 hits, walked 14 and struck out 21.  Good for a 1.52 WHIP.

Seong-min Kim, C, Vermont River Monsters – Kim was signed as a free agent in 2011.  He was the A’s first ever South Korean signing.  He spent the season in Short-season A-Ball and hit .200 with a .274 OBP and .629 OPS.

Seth Brown, 1b, Vermont River Monsters – Brown was a 19th round pick in 2015 out of Lewis-Clark State College.  Between the AZL and Short-season A-ball hit .282/.352/.432.

Trace Loehr, SS, Vermont River Monsters – Drafted in the 6th round out of high school in Oregon, has a solid 2015 in the NYP league.  He would hit .264 with a .325 OBP.  He is 20, held his own with the bat as a 20-year old and plays a premium position.  Lots to like.

James Naile, p, Vermont River Monsters – 2015 20th round pick out of Alabama – Birmingham.  Pen arm.  Had a reallly nice season between the Short-season A-ball and the AZL:  3-0, 1.78 ERA and 0.99 WHIP over 25.1 innings.

Jared Lyons, p, Vermont River Monsters – 2015 9th Round pick out of Liberty.  Rough pro debut in the NYP league, with a 12.27 ERA and 2.66 WHIP.
