JARED ROSHOLT #HA-JR ONLINE EXCLUSIVE AUTOGRAPH
Ali Isaev vs Jared Rosholt - 2019 PFL Heavyweight Championship
Ali Isaev (9-0) was the 2019 PFL Heavyweight champion. He has not fought since winning the title. PFL took 2020 off due to the pandemic. And then Isaev spent 2021 and 2022 booking fights only to pull out of them later. Not sure if it was due to injury, VISA issues, or contract disputes with PFL but as a result he is 39 years old and hasn’t fought in almost 4 years. But he’s back now and has a shiny new contract with Bellator.
Isaev will make his Bellator debut this Saturday (Feb. 4) on the prelims of Bellator 290: Fedor vs Bader 2. He’s set to face off against fellow undefeated heavyweight Steve Mowry (10-0).
Jared Rosholt vs Denis Goltsov - PFL 3, 2019
Great check hook KO here.
Russian heavyweight Denis Goltsov (25-6) is one of those heavyweights that have been around forever in Russia and have built up quite the reputation. Considered one of the best heavyweights not in a major promotion for a long time, he signed with PFL back in 2019. He had a good run but came up short against the eventual winner Ali Isaev.
Goltsov will give it another go this year when he faces off with Mo DeReese (8-2). The fight is set to go down this Thursday (May 6) at PFL 2021 #3.
Ali Isaev stops Jared Rosholt in 4th round to win PFL Heavyweight Tournament
Ali Isaev with a true athletic heavyweight wrestler performance. Moments of genuine creativity and excitement mixed with a whole lotta just sloppy grappling. Still, a better result than I could have asked for. Props to Isaev who wins himself a million bucks.
Missing the last two fights to go watch Cats. Have a happy new year everybody
Heard that Rosholt’s fight was balls
Ray Sefo bought to give that man a $1 million to do that four times on national tv
The fact that Stefan Struve and Daniel Omielanczuk are fighting on a UFC PPV and Jared Rosholt's next fight will be on NBC Sports Network in WSOF is everything wrong with heavyweight and makes me angry.
WSOF building a strong roster

Recently, World Series of Fighting (WSOF) announced the signing of heavyweights Jared Rosholt (14-3) and Ashley Gooch (10-4). They have also signed The Ultimate Fighter lightweight runner-up Ramsey Nijem (9-6) to an exclusive, multi-fight promotional agreement. Bringing on known names and free agency in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is great, but giving opportunities to fresh young talent is even better. WSOF is doing both and that is something that makes them stand out among their competition.
Back in May, the promotion announced “Who’s the toughest?” a recruitment program designed to further the athletic careers of military veterans who actively compete, or are seeking to compete, in the sport of MMA. It is a good way to bring new faces to the sport and build talent from WSOF rather than acquiring fighters from other promotions not signed exclusively with anyone. This is probably the best time the sport has ever seen as far as demand and opportunity for fighters goes.
WSOF looks to have a unique plan in both bringing in the free agent talent they can find and building a great brand with fighters that they have started careers for. What they are doing for veterans interested in the sport is a great way to help the promotion grow, while helping talent grow and give back to those that have an interest in MMA that have served in the armed forces.
Live World Series of Fighting action returns to NBCSN on Saturday, Oct. 7, with WSOF33: Gaethje vs. Dugulubgov, reigning, undefeated world lightweight champion Justin “The Highlight” Gaethje (16-0) of Safford, Ariz. will risk his title against number one contender Ozzy Dugulubgov (8-2) of Ridgewood, N.J.
In the light heavyweight (205 pounds) co-main event, reigning world champion David Branch (16-3) of New York, N.Y. will defend his title against fellow Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and battle-tested veteran Vinny Magalhaes (14-7) of Las Vegas, Nev. via Rio de Janeiro, Brazil., beginning at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m., from Kansas City Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
