Instead of calling jerks a schmuck, I will now call them a Schmeck
Because his Neaderthal-type thinking opens up a future cameo appearance for him on Below Deck.
What he said to the President was a conclusion that is foregone
Because he is from the state of Oregon.
He lacks intuition which makes his brain an unproductive organ.
It doesn’t matter how it is pronounced because he is from the…
Jared Schmeck of Oregon doubled down on his views after spending Christmas Eve telling the president a quickly growing conservative slur: "Let's go, Brandon."
Dean Obeidallah writes that if you want to troll a president to apparently make others on the right happy, you can expect criticism. If you don't want criticism because you are painfully thin-skinned, then don't say 'Let's go Brandon' on a live Christmas Eve special. It's as simple as that.
Apparently Schmeck the Schmuck failed to learn an important lesson when growing up:
If you don’t want people to treat you like an asshole then don’t act like a dick.
It’s amazing what fragile snowflakes the blabbering MAGA wusses are.
Schmeck is now doing the cliché conservative move of saying he's being unfairly criticized because people have slammed his "joke." Schmeck complained to The Oregonian about threatening calls he received after the livestream, saying, "now I am being attacked for utilizing my freedom of speech."
Aww, poor "victim" Schmeck. Apparently, he thinks he should be able to tell Biden to basically go f**k himself while on a family friendly holiday call, but no one should be able to take issue with his actions.
Sorry, that's not how freedom of speech works. If you want to troll a president to apparently make others on the right happy, you can expect criticism. If you don't want criticism because you are painfully thin-skinned, then don't say "Let's go Brandon" on a live Christmas Eve special. It's as simple as that.
Schmeck told a local Oregon paper that he was not a "Trumper," and acknowledged that "Let's go Brandon" does have a "vulgar" meaning but claimed that vulgarity was not his intention.

However, any doubts about Schmeck's partisan intent ended Monday when, as Raw Story reported, he appeared on Steve Bannon's podcast, where he rebutted the earlier reports he was not a Trump supporter. He also declared, "Donald Trump is my president and he should still be president right now." Schmeck then added the lie, "The election was 100% stolen. So, I just want to make that clear."
This is part of the tired old wingnut pastime of what they call ‘owning the libs’. It includes a variety of dumb stuff like not getting vaccinated, contacting the police whenever they see black people, calling people “cucks” – a term the targets of that epitaph don’t care about, and generally just being a self-absorbed jerks.
Claiming that something was a “joke” is something far right trolls typically do when they get called out on something disgusting. If Schmeck Schmuck really meant it as a joke he would have said so in advance.
Jared Schmeck the Schmuck may currently be getting his 20 minutes of fame on MAGA media, but he can’t put the genie back in the bottle. This will follow him around and probably hurt him when he least expects it. As the House Stark liked to remind people: The North Remembers.
Jared Schmeck of Oregon doubled down on his views after spending Christmas Eve telling the president a quickly growing conservative slur: "Let's go, Brandon."
Sanjana Karanth at HuffPost:
The man who recently gained widespread media coverage for using a veiled conservative expletive when speaking to President Joe Biden has surprised virtually no one by revealing that he falsely believes Donald Trump is his president, despite initially trying to convince the public otherwise.
On Christmas Eve, the Bidens were fielding calls for the annual NORAD Santa Claus tracking service when they spoke with a southern Oregon parent – 35-year-old Jared Schmeck – who ended an initially polite conversation with, “Merry Christmas and let’s go, Brandon.”
Schmeck spoke with The Oregonian on Saturday, in which he said the comment was made in jest and that he was not a “Trumper.” While the denial made its way around the media, it struck an obviously dissonant tone considering the phrase’s origin.
“Let’s go, Brandon” has been quickly grown to become a kind of slur that conservatives use to insult Biden after a TV reporter mistakenly thought a NASCAR race crowd was chanting the phrase for winner Brandon Brown when spectators were actually yelling, “Fuck Joe Biden.” Trump supporters reveled online at Schmeck’s prank on the president, who responded at the time with, “Let’s go Brandon, I agree.”
Schmeck appeared on Monday in an interview with Steve Bannon, a Trump ally who was indicted by a federal grand jury in November and charged with criminal contempt of Congress after defying a subpoena by the House Jan. 6 Committee. The committee is investigating Bannon’s involvement in the Capitol insurrection by Trump supporters who had tried to stop Biden from becoming president.
On Bannon’s show “War Room,” Schmeck – donning an unsurprising red Make America Great Again hat – contradicted his remarks from the Oregonian interview and confidently said he believes the false claim that “the election was 100% stolen.”
“Donald Trump is my president and he should still be president right now,” the former police officer said, adding that his telling the phrase to Biden was his way of expressing dissatisfaction with the president.
Jared Schmeck, the man behind the "Let's Go Brandon" call to President Joe Biden on Christmas Eve, went on Real America's Voice's War Room: Pandemic with Stephen Bannon yesterday to declare himself a Big Lie cheerleader by asserting that Donald Trump should still be "President" right now (despite claiming to not be a "Trumper" in an interview to The Oregonian).
From the 12.27.2021 edition of Real America’s Voice’s War Room: Pandemic:
"I have nothing against Mr. Biden, but I am frustrated because I think he can be doing a better job," said Jared Schmeck, 35, of Central Point.
Maxine Bernstein at Oregon Live:
A Central Point father of four who wished President Joe Biden and the first lady a wonderful Christmas and added “Let’s go, Brandon,” at the end of a live streamed Santa tracker call told The Oregonian/OregonLive that he didn’t intend his parting message to be vulgar.
“At the end of the day, I have nothing against Mr. Biden, but I am frustrated because I think he can be doing a better job,” said Jared Schmeck, 35, who works for an electric company and was previously a Medford police officer for six years until he resigned in July 2018. “I mean no disrespect to him.”
The phrase “Let’s Go, Brandon” has become a conservative dig at the Democratic president, a code for “F--- Joe Biden,” which resulted from an Oct. 2 NASCAR race in Alabama, where a crowd was shouting the vulgar chant, but a TV reporter suggested during an interview with the winning driver Brandon Brown that the crowd actually was chanting, “Let’s go, Brandon.” Brown had just won his first NASCAR Xfinity Series race.
Schmeck said he’s not a “Trumper,” but described himself as “free-thinking American and follower of Jesus Christ.”
Schmeck said he and his family call into the NORAD Santa tracker every Christmas Eve. He said he wasn’t aware the call would be livestreamed.
When he called Friday night from his sons’ Christmas-decorated bedroom, he was told First Lady Jill Biden would be taking calls.
“I thought it would be automated. We just waited on hold and then they answered,” he said. “And I thought, ‘wow, this is real.’ "
When Jared shared the names of his children, President Biden immediately honed in on the boy named Hunter, sharing that they have a son and grandson named Hunter as well.
Jared’s 11-year-old Griffin told the president he wanted a piano for Christmas. His son Hunter said he wanted a Switch.
“Switch?” Biden questioned.
Schmeck, kneeling between his sons’ beds and holding his cell phone out so all could hear, explained to the president that it’s short for Ninetendo Switch. Schmeck went on to share that his daughter Piper wanted a Barbie doll airplane and his 2-year-old daughter Penelope would be happy with any presents from Santa. Schmeck asked for a “quiet night.” The president retorted, “Lucks of luck dad,” and all laughed.
Biden urged all the children to get to bed by 9 p.m. and stay asleep until midnight or Santa wouldn’t show.
“Well, have a Merry Christmas. Have a wonderful Christmas,” the First Lady said.
“I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas as well,” Schmeck responded, and added, “Merry Christmas and Let’s Go Brandon!”
The First Lady winced, and the president immediately responded, “Let’s Go Brandon, I agree.”
Jared Schmeck called into the NORAD Santa Tracker on Christmas Eve, and unlike the past times he's called, this call came under scrutiny, as he told President Joe Biden and his wife Dr. Jill "Let's Go Brandon." The "Let's Go Brandon" phrase is an minced oath version of "Fuck Joe Biden".
President Biden responded back to Schenck's "Let's Go Brandon" response with "Let's Go Brandon, I agree" playfully.
