yeah that line bothers me so much BECAUSE SAM DOESN'T EVEN GET INTERACT WITH THEIR FRIENDS??? BUT HE IS HAPPY NOW BECAUSE THEY HAVE FRIENDS??? like i want sam to be happy he deserves all the happines in the world but it just doesn't make any sense because carver/the writers won't let sam interact with charlie or kevin or castiel. lbh when sam says they have friends, he means that dean has friends :(
