Indeed it does, Anthea! I knew I could count on you to have such an important event marked it in your calendar, even though most of us are still processing our new canon. (We missed you, by the way! I hope the current political climate isn’t running you headfirst into a wall. Remember to breathe, okay?)

So, as you probably know, Femslash February is an annual, multifandom challenge to create fanworks of any kind, featuring F/F ships, and now it’s here again!

To help out with the creation/motivation/inspiration this year I've created a Word Prompt List for each day of February. Feel free to use it however you please. Want to create something for each word linked to your favourite ship? Awesome! Want to just pick just a handful of words? Go ahead! Want to mix it up with different ship each day? Wonderful! Let the list inspire you, not limit you.

I’ve also put together a mini-challenge or general prompt for each week of February, but please don’t feel limited by the prompts or challenges. The main goal is to shine light on and create more femslash, the prompts are just there to help and motivate.

Week 1: Going away. Pack the bags! It’s time to go on a romantic vacation to sunny Greece or snowy Chamonix. Or maybe a business trip with a random meeting in a crowded airport? Who knows? The world is bigger than London.

Week 2: Sports and Games. Are they all on the same Roller Derby team? Football team? Are there poker nights? Who comes home all sweaty and glowing from a workout, and who really, really likes that? Or just… imagine them wearing tennis gear.

Week 3:  Be inspired! Create something that is inspired by someone else’s work. Podcast your favourite fic, write a fic to a graphic or a gifset or a fanart, draw something, make a graphic or a gifset based on a fic. Or how about putting together a fanmix? (As a bonus you’ll also make another fan happy!)

Week 4: Favourite trope. What’s your favourite trope? First time? Friends-to-lovers? Sleeping together to stay warm? Fake dating? Sex pollen? Arranged marriage? Amnesia? Mutual pining? Use it! Share it! They are our favourites for a reason.

Again, please let these (and the word prompt list) be inspiring and motivating, not limiting. All contributions are welcomed and encouraged!

Summary: Janine hopes a relaxing trip to a spa might be just the thing to forget about the drama Mr. Sherlock Holmes. Just her luck, Irene Adler has the same idea. When Janine gets an offer to help her relax, she's reluctant at first. But she soon finds a day with the Woman beats one at the spa.

Sherlock Prompts Up For Donation!

So I have a folder listed “Prompts For Others” where I had kept track of various prompts I had sent out to people who had put out prompt requests, and in the spirit of my New Year’s resolution to clear out prompts in my fanfic folder, I decided to clear it out. However, there’s some good ones in there for all sorts of different types, and I can’t write all of them myself, so I’d see who wants them. These are the types I have:

- Actual Ship Prompts (1 Irene/Janine, 1 Mary/Molly/Sherlock, 1 Mycroft/Anthea, 8 Sherlock/Molly and 1 Sherlock/Molly/Lestrade) - Starter Paragraph (1 non-specific het ship which I don’t mind being changed to fit slash or femslash ships) - Fic Titles (9 gen ones, 1 veering more towards het/femslash/female friendship, 1 involving Mary) - Starter Sentences With Ships (2 Sherlock/Molly, 2 Irene/Molly, 2 Mycroft/Molly, 2 Mycroft/Lestrade, 1 non-specific het ship)

I don’t want to keep this file forever since I already took the ones I wanted to write, so feel free to ask for as many as you want (and please, send me an ask with what you want so I can reply more easily). Please help me with my resolution? Thanks!

Pillow Talk (A "no two hearts so open" Story)

A little bit of sweet Jarene fluff!

Pillow Talk - She should be asleep.

She nestled against Irene, loving the feel of her body against her. Irene’s hand skimmed along her waist before settling on her hip. “You should be asleep,” she murmured near Janine’s ear, her fingers edging under the hem of her silk camisole top.

“I know I should, darling, but I’m thinking about things,” she said.

“Such as?” Irene asked.

“Why we didn’t do this earlier,” she said as Irene let her fingertips play on her skin. “Why we both chased after Sherlock.”

Irene chuckled at that. “Mmm, because there’s something interesting about him? Or because we both find intelligence attractive?”

“I suppose,” Janine said. “But I find you even more attractive.”

“I’m glad, because I feel the same,” she said. “Sherlock was an idiot to pass over both of us.”

“Yes, he was a right idiot,” Janine said with a laugh before yawning slightly.

“Go to sleep, darling,” she said, pressing a kiss to her neck. “I love you.”

Janine smiled to herself and moved her hand so it rested on top of Irene’s. “I love you too, Irene,” she said before shutting her eyes. She wasn’t sure what she had done to get so lucky, but she was thankful.
