I loved a lot of things about Dungeons and Dragons: honor among thieves, but one of the things I loved the most was that all of the names sounded like they came from a character name generator. They had me at “Jarnathan”

One absolutely brilliant thing about the DnD movie was the names!!!

Jarnathan the aarakocra!! What a name? You can just see the DM not thinking that he would have to name any of the council.

DM: Okay you're in prison, you could break out but you have a meeting tomorrow to ask the council for absolution.

Edgin: who is on the council?

DM: A dragon born, an Aarakocra, a -

Edgin: what was the aarakocra called?

DM: ... Ummm ............... Jarnathan

I just love stupid obviously thought up on the spot DnD names being represented!
