The voices wouldn’t stop. They just wouldn’t stop. Her skin covered in a thin layer of sweat and clothes sticking to her her body from it. She was heating up from whatever this magic was inside her. It scared her. It wasn’t normal but she couldn’t control it. Someone was going to get hurt. She’d hurt someone again. She couldn’t do it. Not again.
You will fail. Again.
The woman’s voice sounded in her head again.
You always fail.
“Shut up! You don’t know me!” Yen shouted back at the voice. Eyes widening as she recognized the one in front of her. “Jaskier?” She spoke almost breathlessly.
