Jason: “Are you okay now?” You: “Kind of. Can you just hold me for me a few minutes?” Jason pulls you closer and holds you. You stop shaking and breathe on the rhythm of his heartbeat. You: “People always get scared when they see me having a seizure.” Jason:“You told me how it works and I just want to make you feel better afterwards. It doesn’t scare me anymore, I just want to make sure you’re okay.”

Jason: “So, you’re the new girl.” You: “Better than you expected?” Jason: “Way better.”

He started kissing you. Maybe it was just as a thank you or maybe it something else. It didn’t matter, because in that moment it was all you needed.
