Batfam Headcanon

The batfamily has a system where each member gets to take the night off of patrol to watch movies or tv shows. They break up into groups of two or three, and each group has a set night of the week. At first, when it was just Dick, Barbara, and Bruce, they would each get a night to themselves and would rope Alfred into watching stuff with them, but as the family expanded, they quickly lost individual days.

Now Dick and Damian have Tuesday nights. For several months, they solely watched The Office. It quickly became a private joke between them that Dick was Jim and Damian was Dwight. No one but Alfred and Dick is allowed to call Damian Dwight. Dick spent several weeks begging Damian to do matching costumes with him on Halloween as Dwight and Jim. Eventually Damian yielded, but Jason learned the hard way not to call Damian cute.

When Dick and Damian at last watched the Office finale, it was very emotional. Alfred and Dick tactfully ignored the tears dripping down Damian's cheeks, but as soon as the episode was over Dick crushed him in a hug. After a while, Dick felt safe enough to gently tease Damian about how one day he might end up married to the love of his life and living on a farm. Dick has never run faster in his life.
