But also someone's sexuality or gender isn't the most important thing. Especially in the middle of the apocalypse, and that's what they clearly did, just to thick another box to satisfy, let's be honest, twitter and tumblr, Its no lie, Anita sarkeesian is a consultant, its obvious what kind of person she is. If they done it in intelligent way it wouldn't be a problem but they didn't. All good people who were working in ND left. As for AC I think historical accuracy is more important.
Is this in response to me mentioning gamers being bigoted? I think representation is important for people, and there being a fictional apocalypse doesnt automatically erase the concept of gay people from the world... gay people arent exactly exclusive to tumblr/twitter, either. A gay character just existing too doesnt make it the most important thing in the game either.
Historically, ancient Greece was very gay and there were female warriors (which you can google). And even if it wasnt historically accurate in that aspect, that doesnt matter considering you can fight gods and all that in the game. Maybe a valid criticism would be the fact that ubi said the protag of odyssey can be whatever sexuality you want, so theyre trying to please everyone while not making a definitive statement (bc they want it to be a rpg-type game), but the option of a character being lgbt isnt bad.
