Rosegarden Week 2025
Day 7: Free Day
This has been the first time I’ve been able to draw something for every day of an art week and I’m super happy with everything I did! Heck, it’s the first time I really drew Rosegarden and I’m super happy to have been able to participate and see everyone’s work in the event. Thanks to the hosts for setting up this week and to everyone else who participated!
For the last day of RG Week I decided to draw a Rosegarden Fanchild!
Her name is Jasper Pine-Rose and she is based of Jack Pumpkinhead from the Oz books who is Princess Ozma’s son.
Her weapons are prune shears that’s also a pair of guns named Wisdom and Sense.
Design Notes:
She has dark brown hair with red highlights coming from her roots. She’s wearing a dark green headband meant to emulate a pumpkin stem and leaves.
She’s wearing a white collared shirt with gold buttons like Oscar’s first outfit.
Puffy white sleeves comes from Ruby’s outfit
Her black vest has long sleeves like Oscar’s suspenders and is red laced like in Ruby’s outfits.
Her puffy skirt is meant to be similar to Ruby’s skirt. It also has a jasper red frills meant to allude to pumpkins.
She is wearing black pants and boots with jasper red frills and lacing like Ruby. It has a belt buckle like Oscar and Ruby’s outfit do.
Finally she has a jasper red cape like Ruby’s!
