In a sea of faces he's not particularly enthused to see, Santiago's glad to see one that he's always glad to spot in the crowd, even if it did take him a second due to the glasses Jasper wore throwing him off.
"Who'd you decide to come as?" He asks when he's close enough to be heard, failing to conjure up a guess while he made his way over.

"Uh huh," Santiago says in the most unconvinced tone imaginable, barely following the thread of consciousness the Wisconsin native sitting in front of him was leading him down. It had started with the weather and somehow had twisted and turned into whether or not UFOs were real.
( They were, if Jerry Schultz was being asked and Santiago wishes he hadn't. )
He spots his out from the conversation in the form of a familiar face approaching the bar, making empty apologies to the patron as he stepped down the bar to greet his friend.
"Jasper Morgan, aren't we lucky tonight. You here to see this face?" He says of his own before he's unable to stop himself from what he suspects is the true appeal of his Irish Pub to Mr. Hollywood, "Or were you hoping to see a far prettier one than mine with a real nice English accent like yours?"

"Loud and clear boss, loud and clear, in and out and no fucking around," Atlas says with a mocking salute as he turns away from the security guard who was unconvinced about letting him use the bathroom after they had argued for ten minutes straight about why he wouldn't be calling the owner down to the lobby.
"Fucking dick," He mumbles as he makes his way in the direction of the ground floor restroom and then keeps on going. There's no escaping that he was on a ticking clock, and after getting reluctant directions from a maid, he was riding the elevator until it dinged to a stop on the floor he had been instructed one Jasper Morgan's office was.
When he finds it, he presses his ear to the door and listens closely, trying to hear any sounds of voices on the other side. From what Google had to say, he sounded like a busy fellow and interrupting a meeting would be a bad first impression.
He can't hear any conversation, but he thinks he can faintly hear a familiar tune and the added curiosity has him knocking on the door and hoping that it gets answered before the same security guard from down below has the chance to find and tackle him.

Sat at the hotel's bar, Eddie gets a front row seat to what he quickly realizes is a patron going off about something in a shrill voice to the hotel's owner himself, and for something that sounds like it had been one hundred percent their fault, to boot. When she finishes, vowing never to return (Thank god, he thinks), Eddie says to the owner, "Running hotels sounds fun."

24. What are you looking forward to?It's the twins' birthday in a few days. Mine too, obviously, but I'm more excited for theirs than my own.

I mean, sure, some of them were bitches... but things could've changed and none of them deserve bad things.

How's the committed life going? San Diego is a whole lot quieter (and way more clothed) without you. There are whole weeks that go by without walking into a room to find a naked dude hanging out in it -- that's you, by the way, and obviously that's not happening any more since you aren't here. Shame, really... nah, I'm kidding.
You'll have to tell me all about what it's like in England. I've been dying to go there ever since that trip to Paris showed me how fucking awesome Europe is. Funnily enough, I never really cared all that much until then. I sucked at Geography in school so I didn't really care that much about other non-American cultures, but damn, they're interesting to me now. What's it like? Do you have to wear a smart waistcoat and a monocle and a top hat? Do you ride around on a horse with a pack of Beagle dogs and chase foxes? Do you eat scones with Natalie and sip tea with your little finger sticking out? I have a feeling that these guesses are wildly off, but whatever. Tell me about it anyway.
I wish I could return the sentiment with all sorts of exciting stories, but you already know all about San Diego. The most exciting thing I can tell you about is how much bigger the peanuts damn it, Hannah have gotten. They're capable of having these lovely yelling contests in the mornings, so I like to think they're actually trying to sing to each other. Hey, maybe I could be one of those parents that makes their kids do all those singing contests and beauty pageant things. Like Toddlers and Tiaras except way less tacky because putting makeup on babies is a bit (or a lot) weird. Ah, fuck. One of them is crying now so I'd better go and see what's going down.
