Pearl had woke up early, crawling out of bed, noticing her lover was still asleep. But then again, Pearl was always the early riser. She  took a shower, and towel dried her hair. Afterall, she was trying to be as quite as possible.

When she dressed she didn’t put on her normal clothes. This time she wanted to surprise her partner. There was an outfit Jasper had only seen once or twice. A lingerie set with a lacey jacket that covered. 

She walked into the kitchen, starting the coffee pot before pouring herself  a glass of wine. Oliver soft red to be exact. Pearl began cooking, wanting to make something special for Jasper considering she had a rough day  yesterday it’s the least she could do.

Pearl had heard footsteps that had lead to the kitchen which lead her to turn. A small smile on her lips as she leaned against the counter with her glass in her hand. 

         ❝ Mornin’ sleepy head. Hungry?   ❞

A startled, choked grunt escaped Wulfenite as he came to his senses. In his fatigued state, the gemstone had somehow managed to slip into what the humans of this world called ‘Sleeping’. And oh, it was not a pleasant night’s sleep at all. Dreams haunted him. Dreams of being on that damned ship. Having that thin blade dig into his skin, marking him with tally marks... Christ. That was, that was weeks ago. But it still felt like it was only yesterday.

As Wulfenite felt himself waking up properly, he looked over his surroundings... Aye. He remembered where he was now. A natural alcove in a rockface. Small, spitting campfire by his feet. Rain beating down outside. Wulfenite had caught wind of what appeared to be some sort of, some sort of distress beacon of sorts. Whether or not it was Homeworld’s, or another species’ distress, he didn’t care.

Grunting, the gemstone pushed himself up to his feet. Rubbing the sweat that lined his forehead. Gotta get a grip. Wake up some. Then get moving despite the rain. As he began stretching his solid-light muscles, he didn’t seem to really catch the sound of foot steps outside. Possibly due to the pouring rain.

It wasn’t until Wulfenite saw another shadow, cast by the campfire, that he turned around. Fists raised and eyes narrowed.

The response to her question astounded her. Her eyes widening slightly as she listened. As the other finished, Jasper’s gaze dropped, setting her utensil down and standing up abruptly. Her gaze hidden within her thick locks, Jasper clutched her fingers tightly, creating very tight fists.

“Fine.”

Her response was simple, and cold. She then reached for Pearl’s plate, tossing it to the wall far beside them as she let out a frustrated a grunt.

“This…is what I get for caring.“

She replied, her gaze lifting to meet Pearl’s. Her expression stoic, but obviously angry.

“This is what I get for caring for people like…you.”

     ❝ I DIDN’T FUCKING ASK FOR YOU TO CARE FOR ME!   ❞

Her words were sharp, obviously a bit shaken from the other’s actions. She stood, head low as tears rimmed her eyes. Body trembling as her fists tightened. 

          ❝ You know what? Fuck off. I didn’t                ask for this. I didn’t ask for you to                just up and walk into my life like                this. I was perfectly fine being alone!  ❞

No, No she wasn’t. She was so afraid of being alone, but after being used and left for nothing she was afraid to let anyone in. This was just supposed to be a fun messing around, nothing serious. Just teasing each other and every now and then messing around. Not to end up falling for the other, only to fuck up once again. All she ever did was fuck up, she didn’t deserve anyones time.

          ❝ Fuck you! Fuck you for doing this to me!  ❞

She grabbed her jacket before rushing out the door. Tears ran down her cheeks as quickly as she tried to wipe them away. She had been holding everything in for so long that it all just came crashing at once. Her breaths were uneven from her anger, she couldn’t hold it in anymore. Letting out a loud yell before punching the brick wall as hard as she could. 

Which only resolved with busted knuckles with bloody fingers. Loud swearing leaving her mouth as she stormed off once again. She finally reached the alley behind the bar, which always ended up being her ‘alone’ spot. Sitting down she buried her face in her knees in an attempt to calm herself.

I’ve put so much work into Hannah and I really like the way she is and how she’s developed over the time I’ve been here, and I know a good load of my followers feel the same. So Hannah isn’t going to change, and I’m definitely not erasing her history.
