just rewatched jatp in one sitting and i feel like if netflix had actually EMBRACED the fact that it wasn't reaching their target audience and made season 2 PG13 i really think it would have been their number 1 series. like IMAGINE the characters being able to swear and a more in-depth look into alex's anxiety and the boys' relationships with their families and caleb's hold over willie and luke/julie and alex/willie having obvious romantic relationships...what we could have had

rose and the petal pushers is such a good idea for a potential plot that could've happened in jatp S2 bcs it would be such a great opportunity to talk about the fact that during the 70's—90's rock bands that had girls in them, let alone all girls, were treated like absolute dog shit

so like the boys could try to sympathize with them/calm them down (given the fact they would most likely be semi-villains for S2) and be like "we get how it is!! it took us so long to get any attention as well!!" and the girls are a little ( a lot) pissed cause.. it's not the same. at all

i love how we can say [insert any jatp character except evil magic man] and willie would be besties and it still makes sense because that boy is just pure vibes
