Thanks for being my favorite Reno open mic (aside from Waterfall, that happens every Sunday at 8pm!!!). It's awesome to know I will always awkwardly fit among Reno's talented poets and musicians. They've always been very welcoming and I'm incredibly thankful for that.
I got my start there, and I still enjoy performing at Java Jungle every time.

Today was amazing!
Today was karaoke night at the cafe I go to every Friday, and there was this guy, Bradly, there. I began to notice I couldn't look at anything but him. After talking to my friends about him, one of them asks if they could borrow $5 for a drink. I gave it to them. When I looked over, they are walking over to the guy with a rose they decided to buy. The next time I turn around, him and his friends were giggling and glancing at me. Me never having been through this before, fled out of nervousness. I was forcibly dragged back to my seat, and suddenly my friends all got up and left and he came over and sat down. Things went well, once he gets home, he said he's gonna add me on FB so we can chat more. This has truly been the best day in a long long time! And if things go well from here I will have many more great days.
I like Java Jungle.
No one else I know does but maybe i went on a good day.
