the most unsatisfying thing is to the *crack* in Javerts suicide and thats a fact

I did say I was going to maybe try making this trend work for Javert as well (ti ti ti ti, it was on tiktok maybe a month ago)

His life does not receive the light this trend on tiktok uses, (It usually goes from really dark to really bright from left to right) but for him I decided to just keep everything dark, the brightest point being him being a successful inspector, because in his mind that would probably be the highest point he could ever achieve.

From left to right, we have: kid Javert, young guard Javert, Inspector Javert, derailed Javert and Javert in the Seine

So I was going to post this on the 6th for Barricade week, and I was convinced that was today. It is not.🙃

Anyways this is my try at Javert in the Sceine I made in print making class, where we did Drypoint onto milk cartons for experimentations sake. It tears supper easily, but the messiness sort of fits the scene

Can you tell I listened to Javerts soliloquy daily back then? And now as soon as I hear it start playing I feel like I'll cry😭?

I'll be up to date with my current sketchbook soon, we're nearing the end of my first Les Mis sketchbook and the second one also has just a few more pages to share.

I did remember I could probably also share all the digital sketches in my college notes, so I'll probably do that next or in between any sketches that I do
