Kirby just stood there, seemingly a little spaced out. He could hear Hyness and Javez talking in the distance, but the words weren't registering in his head. He was holding a Friend Heart, but it appeared to be...cracked?

He quickly hid the heart behind his back.

Kirby: "Oh, and...don't worry about the Friend Heart, poyo. It's fine. Not like it even matters, poyo..."

...Ok, something was definitely wrong. He was almost completely grayscale, and he was acting strange.

(( What a good question, Anon!! For anyone who wasn’t here for the first chapter of the plot (all of which is under the tag Event : Watch his Back) Javez is a Jammerjab who arrived suddenly after Hyness’ got super freaked out by a question and tried to run away through a portal he made, Javez instead hopped through and beat him and the girls up, Zan at one point leaving to find help, which was revealed to be Prince Fluff, when she returned Javez knocked out Hyness and Fluff, throwing them through the portal and leaving through it before the girls could follow him. He took them to the dungeon on Jambandra meanwhile the girls tried to find a way to get there! ))
