Thank you, @deedee-sims for recommending these imposter lights for the buildings on background lots. I'll fiddle around with them a little more, but this is a lot closer to my vision.

Thought I'd throw my sim actors in there for fun.

I have number of scenes in the next update with Jaxy, Zoe, Frances, and Beau. I've been decorating a city street in preparation for it, as they'll be walking along and talking. I'm also getting sidetracked by trying out many outfits for Jaxy and Zoe, since they haven't already been shown in what they're wearing. I'm liking these almost-matching grey denim jackets, but we'll see. I'm resisting the urge to customize Jaxy's tee, but I might.

Meanwhile, outside...

I had forgotten I'd already teleported them to the lot. They weren't selected, so they had free will, but they stayed right there to be romantic. Good use of free will, I think.

Speaking of outfits, Beau's has changed, too. They were last at this home, so he could easily change if he wanted to. Beau has dressed a certain way with different characters in this chapter, and him being more casual at this point makes sense. In my mind, he unbuttoned the same shirt he was wearing (similar colour and pattern). The glasses were entirely for Alexander's benefit, and once he removed them dramatically in their conversation, he didn't put them back on.

Progress is slow, but I'm still taking fairly consistent baby steps. I feel good about that, but wish I could work faster overall.
