Hi writeblr! I’m Jay, 26 and I’m a queer lesbian. I use they/he pronouns. I’ve been writing for over a decade and have never finished anything long. I’ve posted fanfics but I’ve never finished any original fiction.

All of my writing has lgbtqia+ themes and, most of the time, that includes the negative things that come with being queer - homophobia, transphobia, etc. 

Right now, I’m only focusing on one wip though I have many.

Night Ascending - na fantasy featuring a lost princess with an family of soldiers reclaiming the throne she was banished from (this is the third adaptation this idea has taken starting from my sophomore year of high school to now and I will write this novel eventually)

ALSO YOU GUYS I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!! 

i am now a full time employee!! i signed my agreement to transfer this morning and now i just have to wait for everything to be processed! i tentatively start in my new position on the 28th!!

i have not mentally recovered from my interview. i think i’m still in shock. my boss, who i was interviewing with, was 30 minutes late so i chatted with his secretary and caught up with her. and then my interview only lasted like 20/25 minutes. and it ended with him giving me the job and putting in his recommendation for me to transfer departments. 

like i feel like i blacked out and had a hell of a fever dream. but! asfdbdsk

so my new job is going well...it’s also just wiping me out having to work full days when i’m out of practice working full days

i’ll be m.i.a for a few days until i get the hang of things but i hope i’ll be around this weekend!

i’m pet sitting for my part time job boss today and tomorrow morning when i’ll take him to board for the week and i am nervous. it’s going well so far. i stayed the night last night because they were leaving at like 6 this morning and he snapped at me twice and got me one of those times just a little. and that was with his momma in the house 😬 he’s a sweet boy. he’s just anxious and reactive and going blind and a lots been happening.

i have 25 more hours with him. and i’m just nervous. bc if he bites me and like bites me, i’m going to die (metaphorically)

but we just did our first walk and it went okay even tho it’s a bajillion degrees outside
