Stellars jay I drew, I need to practice drawing birds as they are my favorite type of animals, also I put the image I used as a reference,

Stellars jays are my favorite bird species next to pigeons both mean a lot to me, pigeons cause where I lived when I was a kid we had pigeons who lived in our awning and Stellars jays cause the first time I saw them was in a book about birds that I had as a kid (still have it) and then when we moved states I saw one when in therapy cause there was a huge window and one showed up and I info dumped my therapist lol

Not to imply anything but jays are the manic pixie dream girls of the bird world.

The two types of blue jays we have around the area, Steller’s Jay and scrub jays Pinyon jays. They love visiting the feeders. Normally there’s 20 or more of the Pinyon jays, the ones in the second photo (color enhanced).
