i bet people paint their pokeballs, like some people would just spray paint their pokeball to match their favorite color but some people would get really into pokeball customizations and paint them with all these unique little details involving the pokemon inside and people could buy one of a kind custom painted pokeballs from their favorite like. etsy pokeball creators and stuff. a really dedicated trainer pulls out their glittery fully painted slurpuff pokeball with tiny little desserts and like a sticker on it and you know they love their little slurpuff so much

like!! is autism getting so watered down by people that "lashing out angrily under stress" is not understood to be a stereotypical picture of an autistic person??? growing up that's one of the main traits that /i/ knew about (given it was usually to demonize autistic people in some way and call them scary) but it's a common trait?

if you want to learn to knit, learn to knit.

if you keep putting it off because it looks daunting, learn to knit. if you keep telling yourself “well i like how knit looks better but crochet is easier/faster”, learn to knit.

knitting is a different craft. it’s similar to crochet but the engagement and technique is different enough where you WILL itch a different part of your brain and you shouldn’t brush that off for speed or fear.
