@belikebumblebee, who read the first two chapters when I was just starting out months ago, and encouraged me to keep going with it. She's the reason it even got off the ground in the first place.

@piratekane... I don't even begin to have the words for her. It's easy to thank her for being my beta, but how do I thank her for everything else? She's talked me down off the ledge with this fic more times than I can count. And when I first mentioned "It's too bad I won't have this done in time for Halloween because that would be cool," she immediately decided IT WILL BE READY IN TIME FOR HALLOWEEN. This last week and a half as been a whirlwind that mostly passed by in a fever, but... here we are. She was right. She somehow managed to trick me into getting ready in time for Halloween. So I guess that is your treat.

Because it’s obviously true. Look, Urbosa even basically adopts Zelda and is like “my” little bird. And it’s not like King Rhoam is running to the ghost of his dead wife, but Urbosa is. She’s like, “I’m gonna tell my bestie all the things when I see her again (finally)!!!”

It’s so obvious it’s like reading about all those olden days homoromantic ladies. AUGH.

(One of the great side effects is that I’ve discovered what a thoughtful, gracious, and positive person Sandra Oh is. What a magnificent person to lead a show.)
