Because it’s obviously true. Look, Urbosa even basically adopts Zelda and is like “my” little bird. And it’s not like King Rhoam is running to the ghost of his dead wife, but Urbosa is. She’s like, “I’m gonna tell my bestie all the things when I see her again (finally)!!!”
It’s so obvious it’s like reading about all those olden days homoromantic ladies. AUGH.

(One of the great side effects is that I’ve discovered what a thoughtful, gracious, and positive person Sandra Oh is. What a magnificent person to lead a show.)

This question is hard for me because... I haven't seen so much that I think Shay would have been exposed to at formative points. Like... I haven't seen Bound or Fried Green Tomatoes. And though I think Shay would have seen But I'm a Cheerleader and D.E.B.S., the more lighthearted fare, I'm not sure she would recommend it. Barring my own personal taste, Shay would probably gamble on Imagine Me & You being acceptable and that Delphine might sit through.
L Word probably came out around the time Shay was in the military and/or just out of it, but again, Shay would have to hedge her bets as to whether or not she thinks Delphine would even enjoy it. L Word was pretty gross with how it depicted bisexuality, for example.
They're gonna sit down and watch Pride and Prejudice (BBC, 1995 miniseries). Did it air in Canada? Because if it did, I know Shay's mom watched it back in the day and it's stuck around for Shay. (It did for me!)
