Watching a bomb come down on you while you're trying to vote for peace must be one heck of an experience.
Time would probably slow down, realising your girlfriend is standing at the window, the first point of contact; and your boyfriend is sitting right beside you. You called them there, because you wanted peace. You thought you had the chance to give them a better life. Watching that bomb knowing you could have stopped it, if you'd chosen violence. Knowing that the two people that matter the most to you are about to get hurt, because you chose peace.
It must really be something, hearing the building crash around you. Watching death firsthand for the first time in the most explosive way possible. Watching what you thought was your first ever right choice, evaporate into disaster. Knowing how self harming you are, knowing that you'll blame yourself.......
I fear that the association of Jayce haters will end up sky rocketing in Season 2. They would happily point fingers at everything they accused him of being. Classist, unfair, privileged, xenophobic, arrogant, cruel. Jayce has never seen war in his life and he's never known violence. How could they possibly expect him to stay sane after such a once in a life time experience.
He's killing his lovers with peace.
Mehn, let them hate him if they want to. It's about time that Jayce got a well deserved villain arc. The world has pushed him too far.
