I CANT BELIEVE IT TOOK ME THIS LONG TO POST THIS. THESE HAVE BEEN IN MY CAMERA ROLL FOR WEEKS. OHMIGOSH. i am so sorry Jayden lovers and Aphmau VP fans and aphmau lovers in general!

oh my stubbly-faced man from Estorra you are so intriguing. guy from mystery world that was only in so many episodes. your attitude was incredible and i miss your bluntness..

while its not explicitly confirmed that Jayden is from Dreams of Estorra, its pretty strongly implied through his character design + background props in the series. because of his mystical-worldly origins, i wanted to make sure that he didnt entirely look human. while he looks similarly enough to how i regularly draw people, i wanted to make his nose look funky in comparison to what i normally do. alongside this, i gave him what i can best describe as "fur" around his ears. i dont know. why. not entirely at least. bUT i thought it was cool so i wanted to point it out..

hes also got funky eyebrows!!!! yippe!!! oh i had a lotta fun giving him them big weird eyebrows.. (<- guy obsessed with drawing big eyebrows) cough, oh and uh, i had fun giving him curls too!!! mrehehehe... i had a lotta fun giving him those poofy curls in his curly hair.. (<- coincidentally is also obsessed with drawing curly hair)

but yehh!!! Jayden from VOID Paradox!! gah i had a lotta fun drawing him. its a shame that theres so little fanart of him, and in fact, it is also a shame that theres so little mentions of him... he's literally such a chill straightforward guy. hes just so cool.

he is also from VP which is the greatest invention ever and i cant stop thinking about VOID Paradox WHAT IS WRRONG WITH MEEE UGH..

i just finished watching void paradox for the first time bc somehow id never sat through it in its entirety. thoroughly enjoyed it. i would like to know your thoughts as a laurance enjoyer on laurance x jayden, because for the little time we saw them together i think they had GREAT chemistry actually.

it's especially tasty in this series because they're both knights in a world that doesn't really run with those systems anymore. but they're still trying to protect the same person, with VERY different methods and mannerisms. I'm pretty sure it's confirmed jayden is supposed to be from the dreams of estorra game, too, so that's even more wack.

laurance likes to be with people who are combative. he finds it fun. if he meets some who silently grumbles (ahem, garroth. also gene) he's gonna fall for them HARD. i'm not so sure about jayden's type, but he's pragmatic and does not play around, and that's a perfect juxtaposition to laur's cassanova.

i also find it very funny that laurance is like a real super badass guard from medieval times, and jayden is just some guy in a video game.

Today's Topic: VOID Paradox

(DISCLAIMER: Mostly theories towards the end as most information about it has not been confirmed. not trying to come off weird, I just like theorizing, you don't have to agree with anything I say if you think different)

VOID Paradox - Knowing most of the lore from Mystreet, Minecraft Diaries, Mod Mod World, and even Dreams of Estorra, I like to try to piece together the lore for VOID Paradox. People are generally very confused on what is even happening in VOID Paradox and I am too, but I like theorizing. So let's start from the beginning. Mod Mod World was one of the first minecraft rps that J3$$ ever made. Mod Mod World talked about different dimensions, VOID burn, Tommy, and the characters in that world, some of which made their way to Mystreet (Reese, Marsh, McCloud, and Krystal). Anyways, at the end of Mod Mod World, Modzilla made his way back to his original dimension, leaving Tommy behind to stay with Aphmau. Now Dreams of Estorra. In DoE, there are characters known as Evi's or NPC's. It is revealed in the series that Estorra is actually another dimension that users from another, other dimension travel to, and Evi's are actually real people (Estorrans). Keep that in your head. Stay with me here this is a lot. Now, in Minecraft Diaries, way back in the lore we know that Irene can create new dimensions using her relic. And in case anyone didn't know Mystreet is another dimension that Irene basically copy pasted from the diaries dimension so that she can see her friends live happy lives. (copy pasted theory has not been confirmed but is heavily implied). This new dimension is causing a disturbance in the universe, a dimension that was created by an unnatural force. This is what I believe causes the VOID. (Theories here) The VOID wants to reset the universe to how it should be, so the VOID wipes it clean so the universe can start over again without this disturbance. It destroys dimensions one by one, wiping away everything. When it began to reach the Mod Mod World dimension, it wanted to recreate what started this, good vs evil, light vs dark, a hero vs a villain, Irene vs Shad. So it found hero's and brought them to the dying dimensions to fight against a VOID created villain. It brought Laurance from Minecraft Diaries after Garroth knocked him out at Ungrths grave and took the amulet from him (season 1, ep 99). And it brought Jayden, an Estorran and possibly brother to DoE character Asher. The VOID consumes everything in its path to reset and it is causing these weird things to happen in the dimensions it destroys. But hey that's just a theory, a VOID Paradox Theory.

(Again close to nothing has been confirmed)

Side thing. VOID Burn. VOID Burn occurs after someone travels to another dimension via unstable means. Prof. Modzilla has VOID Burn from traveling to the Mod Mod World dimension. In Minecraft Diaries, we see VOID Burn twice, the first time was when Aphmau was trying to get Garroth out of the Irene Dimension using her powers, but her burns faded quick. The second time was after Aaron got Garroth and Zane out of the Irene dimension, he was covered in VOID Burns before he died. Even in MyStreet, Aaron was stuck in the VOID and when Irene saved him, he was covered in VOID Burns. (this is canon information)

Tommy & Aph broke my heart this series. I enjoyed every second that boy was on screen but also hated it because it makes me sad. The part when she gets possessed and nearly hurts him, and he’s the one to snap her out of it, and she’s terrified of the possibility of hurting him again like OUCH. Family dynamics in media, ESPECIALLY found family, hurt me SO MUCH it makes me sob and these two were no exception. They just care about each other so much and it’s so painful and sweet. I love them.

On a brighter note loved Polly & Laila they’re actually adorable, and Monty was such a fun character but also just genuinely really sweet. You can tell he’s a good guy, especially when he’s interacting with Tommy. I honestly didn’t rlly care much abt Jayden though unfortunately IM SORRY💔

And the laurmau. Oh goshh the laurmau. So good this series. I’ve never been huge abt laurmau but DUDE this series might be the reason I start falling in love with them. THEYRE SO. SO. UHHHHHHAUSHAHAHSH

anyways. Sorry to flood your inbox with yapping. but thank you for giving me the motivation me to watch vp. Your posts and art abt it genuinely made me so interested cus I’d been putting it off for a while, and I’m SO glad I actually watched it. I GET IT. I GET THE HYPE. THIS IS PEAK. VOID Paradox genuinely means so much to me!! its like, for real the WHOLE REASON i got back into Aphmau two months ago. it holds such a special place in my heart. ITS SO GOOD. VOID PARADOX IS SO PEAK. IT IS EXCELLENT. POSSIBLY ONE OF THE BEST MCRPs PERIOD. ugh im still not over it. im still not over VOID Paradox.

doomed laurmau is my favourite flavour of laurmau i think. something about it never working due to circumstances.. ohh.. oh its so cruel.. and VP laurmau is so special. ITS SO MEAN HOW THEY JUST LEFT IT OFF THE WAY THEY DID. LIKE??? WHAT DO YOU MEEANN WE DONT GET TO SEE MORE?? OF THIS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE DYNAMIC??? JESSON WHYYY!

oh i freaking love that scene with Tommy and Aph so much. its such a massive subversion of the trope where "character A (in this case Aphmau) is possessed and character B (who would usually be the love interest, like laur) breaks them free of the spell." instead of Laurance getting her out of it, her son does. her adopted son. not even blood related in the slightest. THAT. WAS SO WELL DONE. HONESTLY ONE OF THE BEST SCENES IN THE ENTIRETY OF ANYTHING APHMAU HAS MADE. it means SO MUCH to me. Tommy and Aphmau mean so much to me. they are the BEST mother-son duo i have ever had the pleasure of witnessing!! ough!!

Polly, Laila, and Monty are possibly some of the most fun and engaging sort-of-but-not-entirely-side characters that Jess has ever written. obviously every character she comes up with has been infinitely fun and engaging, but something about VOID Paradox and its small cast of just. objectively really fun characters. it speaks to me. Polly is super intelligent, but also a plagariser, and steals Monty's work because he cant prove it was his. Laila is somehow probably not getting paid despite FINALLY being slightly better than an intern, and yet she clearly has equal power in her relationship with Polly, and has plenty of autonomy and control in the relationship. i found her role in their dynamic really fun lol. Monty is a genuinely fun, sweet guy. who despite his love for adventure, decided to put an end to it and settle down with his Polly. and yet, the moment his home realm saw signs of danger, he hopped back into his sciences, and attempted to keep his home safe for as long as he could. and his dynamic with Tommy?!?!?!?! AAAUGH!!! oh theyre such a neat father-son duo. theyre so neat. theyre impeccable. Monty respects his son so damn much, and can approach Tommy with such a real and honest understanding, because he truly has been Tommy. he has had such similar emotional experiences to his clone. and despite Monty approaching his son with advice akin to what a lot of teenagers receive from condescending parents, the whole idea is flipped on its head once Monty gets to the point of what he's saying to his son. UGH JESSICA AT IT AGAIN, SUBVERTING TROPES IN SUCH A FUN, GENUINE WAY, THAT ALLOWS FOR FURTHER CHARACTER GROWTH!! shes watched so much anime, you can just tell lmao

Jayden is cool imo. we know so little about him, and yet he doesnt attempt to overstay his welcome in the story. he is just some guy who happened to be displaced by the Void's shenanigans and accepted his fate for the time being. what little we do learn about him doesnt take away from the themes in the story either, and i think it helps Jayden blend in nicely as another cast member. he's an addition i appreciate because of his simplicity and straightforwardness in his role. i do miss Jayden.. sigh..

as someone who was a huge zanemau and aarmau shipper when i was little, i was NOT expecting to fall in love with laurmau--and by proxy Laurance--in the way i did, in the big 2026. genuinely such a life changing, life altering ship. ESPECIALLY IN VOID PARADOX. literally everything theyve got going on is sooo good and sooo delicious and genuinely so awesome. the chemistry, the attraction, and the interactions the two of them have are so meaningfully written. THEY BREAK MY HEART AND PUT IT BACK TOGETHER JUST TO BREAK IT ALL OVER AGAIN. HE'S SO LOYAL TO HER DESPITE HER BEING A DIFFERENT APHMAU, AND SHES SO INTO HIM BECAUSE HES SO SINCERE AND GENUINE IN HIS AFFECTIONS. THEYRE SO AUUGWUGSFJHHWIFSJVJ AAAHHGGHH sobbing bawling in a ball on the floor. i love laurmau. laurmau my laurmau. ugh.

it is a CRIME that it has been ALMOST NINE YEARS AND VP STILL HAS NO FOLLOW UP. LIKE. PLEAAASEE. WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GANG!!! BEGGING WITH SUCH SINCERITY.

so i read any and decided to do all the main characters from VOID Paradox!!! yippe!! im not familiar with MMW just yet.. its one of a few Aphmau series that i never watched before.. but i loooooovveee VP ohh its so wonderful

of course, we're starting out strong with Monty!!! i freaking love Modzilla, he is so interesting to me. his lore, his story, his scheming. its all so intriguing.. i deeply consider watching Mod Mod World so i can see more of him lol

next up is Tommy!!!!!!! oh i love Tommy. he is little guy. he is THE child of Aphmau's ever. his personality is so fun!! he's witty, smart, and emotional. and hes written soo damn well!!! ugh every day i appreciate his existence

obviously i had to include Polly. while i have significantly less thoughts about her compared to some of the other characters, she is still really fun!! i love her spunkiness, her bluntness, her fiery nature, oh she is honestly fun the more i think about it

i feel a little bad that i dont have a lot for Laila, but we dont get a ton from her in VOID Paradox, and i dont know her very well as a character. she is still super cool, and i really like how sure she is of herself. cant believe shes ONLY an assistant though ToT poor girl gets paid minimum wage.. im certain if/when i watch MMW my views will change on her lol

next up is JAYYYDEENNNN YEAHHHH BEST FOR LAST!!!!!!!... ok im sure everyone knows who my FAVOURITE favourite out of everyone here is ToT I CANT HELP IT!! his personality is sooo good. he has such great chemistry with every character he interacts with. AAAND he is insanely badass. Jayden NEEDS a comeback man.. i miss Jayden.. ohh let him return one day..

For anyone still wondering who this guy is from VOID Paradox

He is from Dreams of Estorra, a separate rp series on Aphmau Fantasy. It even says on his wiki page that he is an Evi or Estorran

I believe this is him

but he also has a different name in Estorra (his name is Asher). He is the blacksmith in Estorra and in the background, while he works on a sword, the armor "Jayden" wears can be seen along with his axe.

I strongly believe they are the same person but i am also not 100% sure. I just see a lot of people confused on who he is and what is even going on in VOID Paradox and wanted to maybe answer some VP stuff cause it's fun to piece everything together :)
