Just to clarify: this was in the box.
The rest of the space was removal thread, applicator and so much protective packaging, art museums should be taking notes.
After two months of waiting, the Dudette finally got to pick up her IUS-prescription, which came in this nice, unintimidating packaging.
There was also a warning not to open or damage the packaging outside a sterile environment, or it would become unusable.
TMI but...
I've been having some major problems with my period for as long as I've had it. I bleed a lot, have unbearable pains, vomit, faint, you freaking name it. Yesterday I got a IUD since they can help with several of my problems and I figured I'd give it a try. I was recommended a Jaydess since it's the smallest one (I haven't had any children and I'm a tull young is the main reason). I was also told that it was going to hurt to put it in but it was actually kinda OK and it really wasn't worse than my "ordinary" cramps. (Other than it being incredibly awkward, it being my first time in a gyn chair it was doable.) It's only been a day but I'm currently in kind of a lot of pain and I'm so incredibly tired. I know that it'll be tough for the time coming but I just wanted to share this with people and if anyone wonders what it's like feel free to ask. However I'm living in Sweden and it's where I "got this done" so I won't be much help when it comes to where and who to do this unless you're in Sweden I think. I'm excited and a little scared of the future with this thing but I'll be optimistic for a while more :)
So I got my iud today. I’ve got the jaydess one, it’s smaller so better if you haven’t had a kid yet. Overall it went fine. I took a painkiller an hour beforehand. I didn’t feel anything until the actual insertion, hurt but it wasn’t terrible. Now I’ve got some cramping but I’ll live. Overall a good experience.
