Here we go again. Bellamy, if you can hear me, if you’re alive, it’s been 2,199 days since Praimfaya. I don’t know why I still do this every day. Maybe it’s my way of staying sane, not forgetting who I am. Who I was. It’s been safe for you to come down for over a year now. Why haven’t you? The bunker’s gone silent, too. We tried to get them out for a while, but there was too much rubble. I haven’t made contact with them either. Anyway, I still have hope. Tell Raven to aim for the one spot of green, and you’ll find me. The rest of the planet from what I’ve seen basically sucks, so… Never mind. I see you.
Hi there, Im very interested in Maria Feodorovna ( Dagmar of Denmark ) specifically in the early days of her marriage/engagemente.... (so like the mid-late 1860s/70s) and her transition and adjustment to Russian court life etc. Most of the pictures or info of her is later in life and its hard to find something earlier. Do you know any good books or documentaries that might satisfy this itch? Thanks! <3
Hi there! I completely shared your interest in Maria Fyodorovna. She was such a remarkable woman with a remarkable life. Naturally most biographies are concerned with her whole life, not just her coming to the court, but these are book titles that you might want to search for, that had interesting facts about the period you are curious about:
Little Mother of Russia
Alexander III: His Life and Reign
From Splendor to Revolution
An EXCELLENT but rather difficult one to find is also Kejserinde Dagmar (text both in Danish and English).
Born into the royal Bavarian house of Wittelsbach, Elisabeth enjoyed an informal upbringing before marrying Emperor Franz Joseph I at the age of sixteen. The marriage thrust her into the much more formal Habsburg court life, for which she was unprepared and which she found uncongenial. The birth of a male heir, Rudolf, improved her standing at court considerably, but her health suffered under the strain, and she would often visit Hungary for its more relaxed environment. She came to develop a deep kinship with Hungary, and helped to bring about the dual monarchy of Austria–Hungary in 1867.
hi there! I was wondering what fonts/how you do your fonts on sets like the "asoiaf ladies" series? Ive been playing around with it but cant seem to find one that works nicely :/
Hi! Of course, I’m happy to help :D But I’m not sure what series you mean to, because I have a few that can be described as “asoiaf ladies” series (ladies of ice and fire, asoiaf female characters quotes and the positive lady characters meme). In these sets I’ve used a number of fonts, like Bodoni XT, Monserrat and Aller - but if you have one gifset in mind just let me know!
In the meantime, I can share the font settings I use right now, if that’s helpful :) For a gif to look like this:
These are my font settings:
In this case, as you see, the font I used is Calibri. Ah, and make sure your text layer is always on top of the other layers (curves, color balance, etc.) Otherwise, it’ll look funny.
Sometimes, when it needs it, I add a shadow, like this:
You have to double click on the text layer, so this menu pops up:
(Sorry, it’s in Spanish! But it should be something like “layer style”). Then click on “parallel shadow”, and play with it to see what does work on your edit. My settings for the above gif are these:
But depending on the light and the background of your gif, other settings might work better for you! So just play with the settings and adjust them until you like the effect :)
I hope this helps! I’m really bad at explaining things, so if you have any doubt about any step, tell me and I’ll try to explain it better. And if you want to send me a link to a specific gifset about the text settings you meant, please do, and I’d love to talk about those too :D

Hey! Question, was that really a quote by peytr (books or show), and if so what episode / chapter in the series was that? Thanks lovely!!
It is.The only words omitted from the gifs were ‘his son’ hence the ellipsis. Littlefinger said this to Cersei in Season 5 episode 6 after telling her that he found Sansa Stark and that Roose Bolton plans to marry her to his son so the Boltons would have more legitimacy in the North. @jaylahve
You can watch it here. His conversation with Cersei starts around 1:13 and this specific quote starts at 3:19.
