1. What’s the story behind your tumblr URL? Why did you choose it?

I go by Whispy online, and I write things so...

2. What do you like best about your family?

We have inside jokes.

3. What’s your favorite outfit? Why?

Anything with this sweater-shrug thing (not sure how to describe it) and a bracelet made of typewriter keys. It makes me feel like a writer so I like to wear it on the first day of NaNoWriMo! I also just got the "got fandom?" t-shirt so, you know. That too.

4. All time favorite movie?

Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. I watched it a lot as a kid.

5. What’s the best Christmas present you’ve ever recieved?

A copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows signed by Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and Bonnie Gruesen. (I have an aunt-in-law who was an art designer for the movies.)

6. Prefered writing unetsil?

Mechanical pencil.

7.  What is the most valuable thing you own?

The signed HP book, probably.

8. Are you scared of anything? What?

People disliking me; losing my writing; spiders; embarrassment; too much happening in one place (noise, people, tasks, etc).

My mom trying to kill me with a bloody knife because we disagreed as to whether or not The Last Unicorn was a good movie.

1) Why did you join Tumblr?

I joined tumblr because my friends from youth group (you guys know who you are) got to me to start watching Doctor Who and then told me I should join tumblr. It took me a while, but I finally did. 

2) Favorite book you read in school? Why?

My favorite story was probably An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge, by Ambrose Bierce. It's a short story, and if you haven't read it, you should! I love the ending, it's completely unexpected. And I've always liked historical fiction war stuff. But as far as actual books go, I guess To Kill a Mockingbird. I just really liked a lot of the characters. Especially Boo Radley. One thing I dislike about my school is that, since we're new, we don't have any books. We only read one novel last year.

3) Farthest you’ve ever been from home?

Two years ago my choir went to Rome and got to sing for the pope and stuff. It was a really awesome experience, and I want to go to other countries now.

4) Earliest childhood memory?

Um so I have really few memories of when I was really little, but I guess my first concrete memory would be my first day of school. I was super shy as a little kid and I didn't want to leave my mom and sit in my spot. Then I saw that my friend from preschool was in the seat next to mine and so I forgot about being scared and sat next to him.

5) What were you up to last new year?

I dunno if this is New Year's Day 2012 or last night, but since I have no idea what I was doing a year ago, I'll go with last night. I watched the ball drop with my family, but they were watching How I Met Your Mother and wouldn't witch to the news until 11:50. Then I drank sparkling cider and watched Torchwood.

6) What’s your favorite thing about yourself?

This is hard. I think it would probably be that I'm quiet. I'm pretty quiet in class, with friends, even with my family, though not quiet as much. I dunno how to explain it, but I guess I just like the fact that I'm not one of those annoying loud people. And it's awesome when in class no one knows the answer to a question, including the loud kids who don't give other a chance to answer (I've given up trying) but I know the answer and I just quietly raise my hand and give the answer and everyone's like, "Oh yeah, Maria would know." I'm like a knowledge ninja. haha.

7) First pet?

My first pet was a cat my dad had before my parents were even married. His name was George and he was the greatest cat ever. He was really chill and would just sit with you. He lived to be really old too.

8) Last great book you read.

A book from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy". I think it was Life, the Universre, and Everything. Those books are great becasue they're funny and easy to read but was really clever. 

9) Where do you want to be right at this moment?

With my cousins. One is three and the other is 8 months. I was supposed to babysit them last night, but the party my aunt and uncle were invited to was canceled. Or with my friends. I should be hanging out with people since it's break and I have time. 

10) Myers Briggs personality thingy? If you don’t know, this quiz is not bad, and this one’s short.

Okay, so I got Introvert on both, no suprise there. Intuitive/Sensing and Thinking/Feeling I had one on one test and the opposite on the other test. :P And I got Judging over Percieving on both. So yeah, that was interesting.

11) What is your perfect breakfast?

Two fried eggs with toast and orange juice. I absolutely love orange juice. But my parents only buy this weird frozen stuff. And maybe some fruit. I can never make eggs well though.
