House of Darken (Secret Keepers Series Bk1) - Jaymin Eve
You will find that Jaymin Eve has worked together with Jane Washington before, that is how I got to know about her.
Aliens! They don’t show up that often in books, well…they do but not in the books I choose to read. I’ve finished the first book in the series and will move on to the second soon. I’m sad to see that the main characters will change but at the same time I’m happy that we stay in the same ‘world’.
This is a good YA book. For those who enjoy a supernatural teen romance this novel might be the book for you, for the in-between. You will find that we get a crying female lead which can get on your nerves but if that doesn’t bother you, give it a try. (If Curse of the Gods didn’t scare you away than this female lead wont either)

Which direction?
Having sorted out the Dragons and won the Dragon Marked war, you would think that life would settle down for the Quads and the Twins.
But not so fast.
Only 1 of the Quads has found their True Mate, and only 1 of the Twins ditto. Not to mention, that they may have killed the Dragon but they left the Sorcerer (and his daughters) alive.
So Quad number 2 has to find a Mate and the Sorcerer needs to be killed.
A nice continuation of the story-line and I’m looking forward to the rest of the stories on the 2 remaining Quads and Louis their Sorcerer – and almost Pack.

This is is a review of all three Dragon Marked /Mystics / Mated:
A more standard universe and Earth in this good reading set of 3 novels – and start of a stand-alone series, but with continuation novels.
We have all the usual paranormals living together in a hidden town in the USA, their main purpose and work, being to guard a prison where the criminal supernaturals are sent to live out their (very long – up to 800 years!) lives.
Our heroine is a wolf shifter with a secret, and as it turns out she has more secrets than she was aware of…
The storyline centres on her discovery of her secrets, their impact on her life and that of her best friends, and Pack, the Quads. The Quads are not identical and each is a different typ of Supernatural. As they are very arare births, they are destined to be the Town’s Leaders when 25 of age.
A well written trio of novels, with the thoughts, emotions, and behaviour of Jessa well characterised. We learn the story through her eyes and she is the main story-teller in all 3 books.
