but did you see gareth taylors comments about ludlow's appointment. That was the first time I was like this dude is not it for the development of women's soccer players.

I mean, that definitely gives the vibe that City should have sorted their academy out a long time ago tbh! Seems like it's a deep seeded issue and maybe Cushing bringing in youngsters from other teams instead of looking at developing their own wasn't so great after all...

Or maybe Taylor just has a really low opinion of them 🤷‍♀️

Either way, I feel like he's not necessarily following through on the "any support or help" bit of that by not using any of the academy players.

People who watch women’s football who would you like to hear do co-commentary more?

Personally I like Gemma Fay, Jayne Ludlow and Casey Stoney.

Also I would like commentators who actually know who players are. Be able to pronounce Miedema (she scored so much they have to know that one) and be able to tell Beth Mead and Beth England apart ( yes, I know they are both blonde and both named Beth, but they play for different fucking clubs)
