Elena would recognize her immediately even if she wasn’t flanked by two Mikaelsons. It’s fairly obvious from the bone structure that greatly resembles at least three of her siblings; the shiny blonde hair with a tinge of brown to it that falls in synchronised waves with Rebekah’s own; the permanent look of suspicion in her eyes and the crease of a lingering smirk at the corners of her mouth that very well could open to reveal razor-sharp fangs knowing her lineage.

“You must be Freya,” she says on a quick inhale, trying to keep her wits about her. Her previous first meetings with the rest of the Mikaelsons haven’t exactly gone so well in her favour. Still, she smiles at her and tries not to look like an easy victim. “I’ve heard about you.”

“Not as much as I’ve heard about you, I imagine.” Freya tilts her head, ignoring Elena’s startled expression as she seems to rake her eyes over her.

It’s just a question of if the look is one of hunger or… something else. She has to remind herself that Freya isn’t a vampire. Just a witch. Yet the dark glint in her eyes definitely still feels like hunger.

“Elena, right?” Freya asks, straightening suddenly. At Elena’s nod of confirmation, she gives one back in response, tongue poking between her grin. “Of course you are. The infamous Elena.”

Oh boy. That’s never good. She was close to Finn, wasn’t she? She’s sure she remembers Elijah mentioning that when talking about Freya, that Finn was her favourite of all her siblings. What are the chances, she wonders bitterly, of her not knowing that she killed him at one point?

To her surprise, though, the next words out of Freya’s mouth have nothing to do with Finn.

“I think I see what had my siblings so infatuated with you,” she says, holding her gaze. “The whole bambi-eyed, light up the room smile thing you’ve got going on. I get it. It’s cute.”

Elena blinks a few times. She glances at Rebekah and Elijah, but both seem to be too amused to answer her silent confusion, and much too flustered to actually look at her directly. Great. That’s helpful.

“Thank you?” she says, uncertain.

“Anyway,” Freya says, suddenly all business, “this witch of yours. She’s inside?”

She barely waits for an answer before walking past her up the path to the house, leaving Elena still standing there, beyond confused as Rebekah and Elijah merely shrug off their sister’s strange introduction.

who’s the one to wake up the kids: Eliot if he's home because the man never sleeps. Ava if he's not. who makes the breakfast: Eliot. Ava can cook but it's nothing compared to what he can make. who’s the one to cry for everything: Ava. She's used to kids and knows the tricks to calm them down and find out what happened. who’s the more discipline parent and who’s the more lenient one: Ava's the more disciplined one, lol. Like I said, she's used to kids and doesn't fall for their tricks. Eliot would totally be more lenient. He's used to Hardison and Parker. who helps with the science fair: Ava but then Hardison finds out and gets involved lol his honourary niece/nephew/niblet is going to win! who does baby talk: Ava the most often. Though listening to Eliot speak to the baby in that soft tone melts her heart. who wakes up for midnight feedings: Eliot's already awake so he does. If he's working, it's Ava. who’s the one who always worries: Both of them. Eliot's made a lot of enemies in his life. How they met has made Ava acutely aware of the dangers others possess. who picks up the kids early from school for some fun: Honestly? Parker would. They have tried to at least get her to warn them when she wants to take the kids out. It drives Eliot up the wall and Ava has panicked a few times before she got used to it. who’s the competitive parent: Both of them. You cannot tell me that these two don't compete over the fastest diaper change or something like that. who kisses the ouches: Ava. That includes Eliot's lol. who’s the sucker for the puppy eyes: Eliot. 100% who makes the “dad jokes”: Ava would. Eliot just sighs and resigns himself to the fact he attracts people who make terrible jokes who embarrassed their kid for fun: Ava would be the type to blast music when she's picking their kid up. Eliot would probably embarrass them the first time they went on a date. who’s the overprotective one: Eliot more than Ava. Like I said, he has enemies. who’s the “take a sweater!” parent: Ava lol though it could be argued that both of them are.

okay so billie would totally be like... the skeptic nonbeliever who gets pulled in WAAAAY late in the game. maybe the latter half of season one or the beginning of season two. like buffy’s like “billie, a ghost is gonna kill you if you walk in those gym doors right now” and billie’s like “*eye roll* okay, yeah, sure, buffy. you know, i didn’t think you were the bullying type. that’s really fucked up to just say shit to try to get a rise out of me.” then she would walk in the gym and almost get killed immediately.

in true billie fashion, her love interest would of course be oz. fruitlessly pining over someone else’s boyfriend only for them to break up and her to eventually get with them after tortured mutual pining? sold! they would also be besties obvs, music buddy vibes. maybe she’s even in dingoes ate my baby! buuuut she would hate the lead singer so who knows.

she and giles would be mutual eye rolls and sarcasm galore, she would love him, that’s her dad now. she and willow would be buds too, she would probably find the wiccan stuff really interesting!! loves buffy, thinks she’s a badass and deserves more respect. enemies to... friends? with cordelia, they might even have a fling, but it would definitely be a lot of bickering. would not like xander. i can tell ya that rn. like i think they’d put up with each other and like... love each other as required to by both being part of the same friend group? but fight CONSTANTLY.

LOVES anya, thinks she’s so funny and they’re definitely buds, same with tara tbh im picturing a girl gang. loves dawn like a lil sister!! she’s giving no opinions on anyone else but i definitely think she helps with the research team, not so good on the hand-to-hand combat end.

idk if i’d make her a supernatural being or not?? on the one hand, her being a human fits in really well with her brand of being an underappreciated backbone of the show. on the other hand, i could definitely se her as a siren? or maybe as an amazon would be kind of cool! but if she was one, i think she would be regarded as human for the first few seasons and eventually she’d kind of come into her own.\

Plus since homemade doesn't cost as much as professional, or at least I hope it doesn't, if it ends up breaking or getting lost or something, it's more just sad than some fucking catastrophe."
