like everything will be chill on a mission till red hood shows up and he and Rae immediately start talking about literature classics and pains of death like they are just some really fucking creepy ghosts talking about irl gossip

it's not just the boys tho. Cass and raven just have this like solidarity from always knowing how everyone feels and the ever-present fear that you are a monster who would love nothing more than to tear everyone in the room apart. (: so when they are in a room together they exchange glances that make everyone think that are either going to kill some bitches, or fuck (other batfam members pray it's the first) they hardly actually talk but it's somehow creepier than the usual silence because they still seem to communicate

this does not extend to bruce tho he and raven do not get along (which just helps to fervor roomers) because neither of them can read the other which makes both of them bitchy and suspicious
