“No!” Victoria cried out with a laugh. “You’re not supposed to put the star on till last, and I’m not done yet! So put it down.” She said pointing an accusing finger at her husband. It was their first real Christmas together as husband and wife, and the girl couldn’t be happier. It honestly wasn’t something she pictured herself doing a few years go. But now, it was something she couldn’t see herself not doing. Pulling a little ornament box from her bag, she walked over to Javier. “Look, one of the girls at work gave it to me.” On the outside of the box was a picture of a little couple standing in front of a tree. In their hands was a little star. “It’s to celebrate our first Christmas together. It’s adorable don’t you think?” Taking it out of the box, she happily placed on the tree among the other ornaments. “There, now we can put the star on the top.”
