they both like adventuring and dangerous shit and they’re jsut? Not for family life. Sometimes they just split up and Erik goes off to work for someone alse for some time and Jazbay is off doing mage/dragonborn things

they have a very relaxed marriage to the point where smartass people with Opinions are sometimes like "ha ha. Admit it, you two. you're totally in love. Why lie to yourself" and they're like "well uh we got married three yars ago" "what" "what"

and then they meet up at their house and have a dinner with Mralki (if cellphones existed in Tamriel Jazbay would take a selfie with his father-in-law and send it to his actual father every single time. maybe with a middle finger up)

mostly they're like best friends who get married out of convenience so they can always have someone to return home to and so Erik's dad doesn't worry so much and so that Jazbay's sister is totally jealous he landed a hunk

still, sometimes bearded neck kisses happen
