Dynamic vocalist and pianist Diane Schuur ("Deedles") is chilling, smoothly wafting vocal phrasing from the soul in this beautiful big band arrangement by Tom Scott of a standard written by Jimmy Van Heusen and Johnny Mercer in 1939. The production quality of this piece—for that matter, the entire album—is amazing; I'd call it pristine, and it is impeccably executed by a host of notable talent, including the great Hubert Laws on flute.
