Goals for this summer:
Practice transitioning from chord-to-chord by playing chord tones and using no accompaniment.

Two more days
Just had a lesson with two of my teachers so we could go over the final set list for Wednesday night's show. I'm honestly not as nervous as I thought I would be. All I gotta do is make sure my melodic embellishments line up with James's chord substitutions on guitar. I'm really excited for this show. I know I can kill it, I just need to be cool make sure I continue to stay on top of my game.
I told my friends that I'd meet them for karaoke tonight, but I'll be damned if I leave this house before I finish transcribing this lead sheet and writing it out by hand.
