i've noticed that often when people do go asking those meta-engrossed questions it's not a sincere and short "what's the best ___" but instead 90% of the time they start it off with "can somebody tell me what's the best___". and to me it pretty much sounds like "can i borrow someone's brains for a second because my own is too limited to see from the base stats how OP the tigris prime is" like if you're gonna use a brainless meta cannon at least use that saved brainpower to figure it out yourself

i heard that the “meta” recently shifted to status+crit because people finally realised some of the power of status weapons but like... ive been using straight status weapons for a long ass time. theyve always been really good. but everyone was so focused on crit for so long
that and literally anything is good as long as you put like 5-6 formas in it and roll a decent riven. i have a 7 forma ignis that only falls off at like lv50 or something and as far as i can tell the “meta” people just look for like 0-1 forma powerhouses instead of finding something fun to use. like the ignis
