"Get out of the Catbus,” said Nash, calmly. All this Japanese piped-in music was giving him a headache.
“I’m never leaving this fucking Catbus,” said Jason. Even on his knees, he had to bend his head to fit inside. He had on his sunglassses for some reason. He tipped his head back and looked perfectly content with the world.
A herd of small children, weeping miserably, huddled just outside the exhibit and stared at Nash with their huge reproachful eyes. As a travel agent, Aida was fucking incompetent. Already Nash had had to dig the rest of his team out of the movie room during Spirited Away and four of them had watched Haku spiral into scales and burst into tears and swearing.
The crying of the small children got louder. If nothing else, the small children visiting the museum today were getting a crash course in English vocabulary.
Nash sighed and tried not to calculate the his chances of success if he had to go in after Jason, who obviously was dealing with massive childhood issues. “If you don’t come out,” he said, “we’re not going to have any time for the gift shop.”
“What’s in the gift shop?” said Jason suspiciously. “I’ll tell you. Not the fucking Catbus.”
“No,” said Nash. “But there will be gifts ,or replicas that you can buy. The rest of the guys are already clearing out the little black balls.”
“The Soot Sprites?” said Jason.
God fucking above. “Yes,” said Nash. He needed a drink, but obviously in this whole stupid museum there wasn’t a place to get any. “The soot sprites.”
There was a hollow plastic banging sound and then Jason rolled out. “How big are the Totoros they have?” he said. “I want massive, like fucking massive, like bigger than my head.”
Nash pointed in the direction of the stairs. “Go,” he said, in a voice of pure ice, “and see.”
Jason rolled to his feet, looked at their team captain’s face, and grunted. “Lighten up, asshole,” he said. “We’re on fucking vacation here.”
jcminwell replied to your post “Kuro Fes - Cosplay & Fujimaki's Comments”
Do we know for sure those are comments by Fujimaki? I feel the book normally makes it clear when Sensei is talking and those comments seem way too enthusiastic for him...
Ooooh, crap, I think you might be right. It was a bit too good to be true I guess ;_;
...I guess it's too late to change the title of the post...orz
Isolation of Genius in Team Sports Manga - a meandering conversation
I started a conversation with somnia about isolation - especially the isolation of genius that is such a big theme in KuroBasu, and couldn't really think of another sports manga where the isolation of genius is such a big deal for the whole manga instead of just being an aspect covered by the isolated genius character.
I later had another convo with jcminwell about it on skypechat, which I've put under this readmore if you're still interested, chaco!
I'd love to hear other people's thoughts about it, especially since there are so many team sports series I haven't read/watched.
chippo: oh yeah jc
chippo: i was kind of talking with chaco about genius isolation
chippo: in sports manga
jc minwell: ooh
chippo: but i started thinking
chippo: sports manga is really too big a genre
chippo: isolation as a theme obviously shows up in sports that has a big theme of teamwork
chippo: hence why in my opinion it wasnt a very big theme in prince of tennis
jc minwell: hmm yeah
chippo: genius is also a theme that shows up in many many sports series
jc minwell: genius is more common
chippo: and just competition series in general
chippo: yeah
jc minwell: almost unavoidable
chippo: so it makes sense that sometimes they come together
chippo: altho not always
jc minwell: makes sense
jc minwell: knb is particularly big on both geniuses and teamwork
chippo: yeah, this all started because chaco was wondering if any other sports series had this theme be such a big part of it
chippo: and of the ones i know of, i dont think so?
chippo: mostly because
chippo: knb's main theme is geniuses
chippo: due to its premise
chippo: but thats not necessarily the case with another series
jc minwell: yeah
chippo: you do have isolated genius CHARACTERS
chippo: but their arc isnt such a big part of the series
chippo: and they tend to be the rival on the team
chippo: so them being consumed by the protag team
jc minwell: hmm i'm trying to think back to the sports manga i've read
chippo: tends to happen fairly early in the run
chippo: altho daiya no a stands out because furuya has yet to reveal his full backstory
chippo: 30 volumes in
chippo: when i last caught up
jc minwell: that is unusually late
chippo: right?
chippo: and hes the isolated genius character who is the rival for the protag on the team!
chippo: tho the thing about daiya no a is that the genius rookies dont take on that much responsibility for the game while they're rookies
chippo: only when the third years retire did the freshmen start actually doing stuff
chippo: and thats like 20 volumes in at least
jc minwell: yeah is rare in that it's set at an established school
chippo: yup
chippo: kind of like pot altho pot did still have its rookie protag play from the beginning
jc minwell: it's easier in tennis
chippo: true
jc minwell: becasue of the focus on individual talent
chippo: and you dont need to work together
chippo: except in doubles
chippo: but my problem is that i havent read THAT many sports manga
jc minwell: me neither
jc minwell: i've read quite a bit but even then it's not much compared to how many are out there...
chippo: yeah...
jc minwell: i've always been too jump-focused
chippo: so just because i havent come across other ones where there are so many genius aces needing to learn to play with the team
chippo: doesnt mean they arent out there
jc minwell: yeah
chippo: tho kurobasu is also special because of the all genius team backstory
chippo: that usually happens in the allstars round at the end of the manga
chippo: lol
jc minwell: haha
jc minwell: knb puts the allstars in the past
chippo: yes
chippo: there are manga where the isolated genius was on a really good team in the past
chippo: but his past usually remains one enemy
chippo: not split off and having to learn to get along with others
chippo: but again
chippo: thats the limits of my ignorance :/
jc minwell: haikyuu's kageyama?
chippo: yeah
chippo: and also i'll i think?
jc minwell: yeah
jc minwell: it's been so long since i've read i'll
jc minwell: i can't remember any of their names...
chippo: i remember main chara was akane
chippo: ...unless thats the name of the childhood friend...
chippo: i'll was so typical for a team sports manga
chippo: and then the ending happened
jc minwell: lol
chippo: that makes me wonder
chippo: did rukawa have a backstory?
jc minwell: i don't think oofuri had any isolated geniuses in particular?
jc minwell: maybe haruna
jc minwell: not that i know of
jc minwell: rukawa was always pretty mysterious
chippo: oooh
chippo: with oofuri
chippo: i meant that abe had haruna from his past
jc minwell: but then again slam dunk rarely cared much about backstory
chippo: who popped up later in a different team
chippo: lol
jc minwell: except for mitsui and akagi
chippo: ooooh
chippo: abe isnt really an isolated genius type i dont think
jc minwell: yeah i wouldn't call him one
jc minwell: and haruna is a bit different because of akimaru
chippo: yeah
chippo: most genius types get a handler or a rival
chippo: someone to connect them to the team
jc minwell: haruna is the handler even tho he's the genius
jc minwell: XD
chippo: i guess yeah XD
chippo: haruna doesnt really need one to connect him to the team as well
chippo: with knb
jc minwell: yeah
chippo: you had the geniuses but no one to connect them into a team
chippo: except kuroko
chippo: and also maybe nijimura?
(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜: ._.
(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜: the geniuses WERE the team
jc minwell: oh i realised that i lied a bit about sd
Xanh Biến: would mihashi be considered isolated genius?? maybe ... but he wasn't like recognized for his genius ... LOL (/late to convo so might be off-base completely)
chippo: mihashi was isolated definitely
jc minwell: there were some more backstories now that i think about it
chippo: but it wasnt a genius thing...
jc minwell: but not much rukawa backstory
chippo: ahhhh
chippo: im trying to remember whistle
jc minwell: hmm mihashi is hard to say
chippo: mihashi is a slightly different isolation theme maybe?
jc minwell: like you say he wasn't recognised for his genius but his irregular talent did feed into his isolation
jc minwell: in a way
chippo: yeah true
jc minwell: definitely not a stereotypical isolated genius tho
chippo: yeah
jc minwell: there's nothing tsundere about mihashi haha
chippo: XD
chippo: i cant remember other genius characters feeling unworthy about being on the team
chippo: either
chippo: the tsundere in that one is abe :D
Xanh Biến: hahaha yeah
jc minwell: oh yeah whistle had mizuno
jc minwell: he's basically the type
chippo: ...i dont even remember who he is ;_;
chippo: its been way too long since whistle orz
jc minwell: tatsubon
jc minwell: the tsundere playmaker on the protag team
chippo: ooooooh!
chippo: the captain right?
jc minwell: yeah
jc minwell: i should've mentioned that first
chippo: the one with blondie as his handler
jc minwell: except blondie turns out to be a bigger genius
chippo: ...oh god i totally forgot all that
chippo: *reads wiki*
jc minwell: well bigger is probably overstating
jc minwell: but shige is definitely a genius type too
chippo: yeah right!
chippo: hes the blond charai one who never gets serious about anything
jc minwell: yeah
chippo: i wonder if he ever wore a hoodie under his school uniform
jc minwell: haha he seems the type
chippo: right :D?
chippo: actually fuwa fits the unsociable aspect of the isolated genius
chippo: unsociable AND tacturn from what i remember of this show
jc minwell: hmm i don't remember fuwa being treated as a genius much once he joins the team
jc minwell: since he's a beginner
chippo: yeah
chippo: he just has the personality type lol
jc minwell: no long-held pent up frustration
jc minwell: or bitterness :P
chippo: ok true
chippo: but he had the unsociable/tacturn/expressionless trifecta didnt he?
jc minwell: yeah that's true
chippo: tho you might see that in isolated characters not in sports manga more often
chippo: and actually none of the knb geniuses have this trifecta i just realised
jc minwell: yeah
jc minwell: knb doesn't really do 'expressionless'
chippo: no XD
jc minwell: apart from kuroko to a certain extent
chippo: yes
jc minwell: but he's not unsociable
chippo: or tacturn really
jc minwell: yeah
chippo: unsociable is mido and tacturn is mitobe
chippo: no one has more than one part of the trifecta XD
jc minwell: haha i'm not even sure if mitobe counts as tacturn
jc minwell: since he does talk via koga XD
chippo: lol true

Here you can see we got more and more off topic, so I end it here orz
jcminwell replied to your post“jikantoki replied to your quote “I want to watch Kagami from now...”
Er I'm not disagreeing that Aomine spends a lot of time watching Kagami, but in that particular scene he's not saying Seirin don't matter, he's just saying that Kagami is going to be awesome from here on out. Akashiscans ver is a better translation:)
Ah... that makes more sense... but imo he kind of implies that seirin is not interesting in comparison to Kagami. But I digress. He still says that he wants to watch Kagami and that is definitely enough for me already. XD
Put your music into shuffle, list down the first twenty songs that play.
Oh, I remember this meme from LJ! It was pretty fun doing drabbles with these, so I think I'll try that with Kuroko no Basuke. The people I tag can just put down their songs though, if they feel like doing this :) As always no pressure.
I tag: aiwritingfic, half-sleeping, jcminwell, percontations, and unresponding.
Balloons – Dong Bang Shin Gi
Though time passes
Though I forgot
Will it be possible to contain it in the yellow balloon
They made a promise to stand on the court together. It was such a childish promise. Such a naïve thing to think.
When did he forget it?
Forget the memories of just playing basketball. With none of the burden to win and none of the pressure to lose.
When did they forget? How fun it was to play basketball.
“I can’t remember how to catch your passes.”
Neither can I.
“If it’s you, you can surely melt the ice.”
Can he? To pin his hopes on the basketball that brought them together and pulled them apart.
He had to try.

Burn My Dread – Kawamura Yumi (Persona series)
I will break the chain
And run till I see the sunlight again.
I lift my face and run to the sunlight.
Himuro had never asked Murasakibara how he felt about Himuro’s ring. That to Himuro basketball was a way to prove himself; to prove that he was worthy as Kagami’s big brother. Even if winning meant he would no longer be his brother.
He never needed to. Murasakibara wasn’t crude enough to butt into Himuro’s business, but Himuro felt his censure nonetheless. He’d known all along that he was being selfish.
But it was the only way for him to escape the poisonous envy that threatens to choke him. Once it was all over, he can start again. He has to.
-
Betrayal – Atobe Keigo (Prince of Tennis)
I won’t believe anyone anymore
I can’t love anyone anymore
I won’t search for unseen stars in this world
The same morning still comes, the same evening still comes
Even though I still dream
Reality is still smiling faintly as it betrays this heart
Where does Kuroko get off looking at me like that. How dare Momoi try to lecture me.
I’ve done nothing wrong. It’s not my fault. This is the goal. This is what we’re trying to achieve. To be good at basketball, better than everyone else. We are supposed to win.
If people choose to despair, if they choose to give up, that’s their problem. That’s their fault.
Why do I need to feel bad about other people not trying hard enough. Why won’t they try harder, why won’t they fight more, why won’t they play basketball.
It’s not my fault.
-
Love in the Ice – Dong Bang Shin Gi
I’d hug your hardened heart tightly in my arms forever
Against the wall of reality
Even the coldest of hearts
At the end of the flowing tears
The fuzzy stream of light
Shines brightly in the darkness
Passing through that time
Afterwards, beyond the tears, beyond the despair, Ogiwara remembers being embarrassed. Ashamed that he had said something so self-righteous to Akashi.
“Do you have fun playing basketball?”
What right did he have to say that, when he couldn’t even give them a good match? Basketball is a team sport with two sides. It’s not basketball if only one side is doing anything.
He’d wanted to melt that ice. In Kuroko, in Akashi, in all of them. Because it hurt to see them like that, when they love basketball just as much as everyone else.
But he didn’t have the right.
-
Utsushi E – Aragaki Yui
If tomorrow and yesterday were to swap
If after today comes yesterday
Would I be able to meet you again
Tell me, if what I’m searching for
And what you’re searching for
And whatever we found together
Like this endless, wide ocean
Were all accepted, even though we should be able to come together in forgiveness
He tells Kuroko that there are two Akashi Seijuurous. He is lying.
The other Akashi Seijuurou, the one who made time for others, and cared about things that didn’t matter towards victory, the one who had feelings, is gone.
Ever since that day he lost against Murasakibara, the other him had disappeared. He will never appear again. That is the fate of those who lose while bearing the Akashi name.
He will never meet him again. It is regrettable, but inevitable. There could have been no other end on the event of his loss.
There is only one Akashi Seijuurou.
-
Witch Doctor – Alvin and the Chipmunks
Yeah you've been keeping love from me
And that's not very smart!
(Not very smart)
So I went out and found myself
Someone who'd tell me how to win your heart!
(Whoa! Yeah!)
Moriyama has three folders of links on his laptop. The first folder has links about how women think and what they want in a man. The second folder has links that explain how to have women all over you. The third folder has ones with women that act like those Moriyama has met in real life.
Moriyama’s long since learned that those trying to explain women, but had examples that act nothing like the ones he actually knew – and nothing like the ones Kise actually knew – weren’t worth the trouble.
But hope springs eternal. So they stay on his laptop.
-
Ganganganbatte – NEWS
Shopping date, if it’s for you
Waiting and carrying are both WELCOME
Men should be quiet and walk on the side by the road
The main point is being a gentleman
Riko wasn’t expecting both Kiyoshi and Hyuuga to show up. She invited them. She wants them there. But she didn’t expect them to be.
Didn’t they have anything better to do than help her shop for her dad?
They could be playing basketball.
But they’re here. So Riko smiles, and lets Hyuuga carry the bag with the glasses, and lets Kiyoshi walk between them and the road.
It’s just a fantasy, just playing at being a couple. But they are both here and Riko won’t be the one to drive them away.
At least it’s easier with two of them.
-
Wander – Kanjani8
When I got off in the middle of the ride, the young man in front of my eyes
With arms full and laughing
I recognise him, I knew who he was at a glance
Remember that this was how I laughed and the answer is there
Yes, the thing that was important to me
I wanted to make beautiful flowers bloom
Kuroko’s punch hurt. He’s a tiny slip of a guy, but he knows how to punch.
Kagami should have known better than to underestimate quiet people.
Kuroko wasn’t wrong either. Not really. And the thing that hurt more than his fist was his words.
When did Kagami forget? When did Kagami stop laughing over basketball?
It doesn’t matter. He has what he wants right here. If he can’t win then that’s all the better. Because it will feel all the better when he does. When they do.
Kagami doesn’t want a match that he’s not happy about winning ever again.
-
Hadakanbou – Yamashita Tomohisa
Speaking falteringly is fine, being straightforward is fine
If we can be connected by our real intentions
Stop lying, and bring it all out
Hanamiya knew he was being played. He knew he was falling into Imayoshi’s trap.
But it was such a relief to be himself and have everyone know who he really was.
It was worth thanking Imayoshi for that. Even if it’s what Imayoshi wanted.
Without that, Hanamiya might never have been able to create the Kirisaki that he had now. He might never have found the…not friends…cohorts he had now.
He also had to thank Imayoshi for the idea of being captain and coach. Though Hanamiya went a step further and cut out the middle-man entirely. Why make it complicated?
-
I LOVE YOU – Tezuka Kunimitsu (Prince of Tennis)
Even when I got irritated because we’re so far apart
The one who always smiled at me
Was you
On days when Kuroko was particularly tired, particular hopeless, he would go through his phone. He had a folder just for all of Ogiwara’s texts to him, and he would read them again and again. Until he had the strength to do this for another day.
On other days, when he was too tired, too hopeless, he would take out the letters Ogiwara had written. A kid’s handwriting, a kid’s vocabulary that spoke of things that were no longer a part of Kuroko’s life.
But he still believed. That they would stand together on that court. And that was enough.
-
Only You – Aragaki Yui
Only you, it’s true
Come here, why can’t the correct thing
Get through to you
It’s the opposite isn’t it
Only you, just that
I won’t chase you anymore, probably I won’t chase
In front of him, Akashi looks down coolly from his position at the top and says,
“I wish to be your enemy.”
He does not take Midorima’s hand.
Midorima knows.
He has lost. He has lost the game and he has lost Akashi.
He doesn’t know which hurts more.
No, he does.
Losing hurts. Losing always hurts. And because he lost he is that much further from Akashi again. Like always.
Takao’s crying, and apologising. Midorima is sorry too. Because he never had the capability to comfort. Even without the excuse of tears, Midorima couldn’t have given what he needed.
-
Oosaka Romanesque – Kanjani8
You said that the speech of this city was rough
But I can’t change
Because I’ll say ‘Love ya’
Imayoshi, he asked, why do you speak with a Kansai dialect?
Obstinacy, I guess? I have my pride, I suppose.
Do you really? he said. Even though you don’t care what people think of you.
I care.
You don’t act like it, he said.
I have my pride.
Do you miss it? he said. Is that why you speak it.
Why not? I can love too.
What do you love, Imayoshi?
Basketball, of course. Didn’t I come all this way for it? That’s true love, don’t you think?
I guess it is, he said. No regrets?
No regrets for love.
-
Kanadenaru (Perform and sound) – EGOIST
The seven suns sank
The sky and earth and sea
Ah, are erased
In the end, the Generation of Miracles’ winning streak remained just that. A miracle.
Teikou lost the following year and has been losing ever since.
Akashi went to Rakuzan.
Midorima went to Shuutoku.
Aomine went to Touou.
Murasakibara went to Yousen.
Kise went to Kaijou.
Even Haizaki went to Fukuda Sougou.
And those who remember, those who ask, Kuroko went to Seirin.
Teikou rises, Teikou falls. And those who’re left behind, shadowed by that bright light, left bare without that deep shadow, can do nothing but pick up the pieces.
Teikou? The school the Generation of Miracles went to, right?
-
Shiawase Neiro (Sound of Happiness) – Orange Range (Code Geass)
Thank you, from my heart
That I have a present is thanks to everyone
Thank you, from my heart
Next, I will give everyone happiness
Today’s street basketball day. Right now it’s a three-on-three with Kuroko, Kagami, and Kiyoshi against Akashi, Aomine, and Murasakibara. On the side-lines, Takao, Kise, and Wakamatsu await their turn. Further back, with the crowd forming around them, are the others waiting even longer for their’s.
Thinking about it more thoroughly, it’s probably a bad idea only using up one court. By this point, half the group isn’t even going to get their turn today.
They should change this to a proper match with five members each.
But they can’t stop the game, none of them can. It’s too much fun.
-
Ghost – The Academy Is…
There are fine lines I've seen we are stuck in between
With separate eyes to use and throw aside
How we die, nobody has to know
Who decides where everybody goes?
(Well, what if I don't?)
“This is the only way to beat Akashi-kun.”
“The only thing that can go up against the Emperor Eye is the Emperor Eye.”
It is the only possible way. It is the only possible solution.
The irony doesn’t escape Kuroko. It probably doesn’t escape any of them.
“I am Akashi Seijuurou, of course. Tetsuya.”
“There are two Akashi Seijuurous.”
“I have not changed. There have always been two of me, I simply switched around.”
Are there still two of you now, Akashi-kun? Still together, taking on the world as one?
There is a certain justice in killing Akashi-kun with himself.
-
Elevator – David Archuleta
It's an endless ride
Sometimes it takes you up
Sometimes it tears you down inside
But it's the butterflies
That keep you feeling so alive, so alive
You gotta get back that high
Kise regrets things. People don’t believe him when he says so. But that doesn’t change the fact that Kise regrets.
He regrets lots of things.
Not being good enough. Not being the Ace Kaijou needs. Not winning. Never winning. Not when it counts. Not for Kasamatsu-sempai.
But one thing he doesn’t regret, he will never regret, is playing basketball.
That day, when Aominecchi sends the ball of Fate to the back of his head, when he follows that back and falls in love with his basketball, was the happiest day of his life.
He just hadn’t known it yet then.
-
Koi wa Thrill, Shock, Suspense (Love is Thrill, Shock, Suspense) – Aiuchi Rina (Detective Conan)
From you, from me, running from everything and arriving at
A place that is nowhere
An escape route isn’t needed anymore
Even if the tears flow, you know that I won’t, that nothing will break
Murasakibara would rather die than admit it. But he felt better after he cried.
Even though it was so ugly. So truthful. In those last few seconds, Murasakibara could do nothing but admit it, he wanted to play basketball. That honesty followed him after the match. That was the only reason he could see why he would cry.
Being truthful with himself wasn’t a habit of his. Nor did he want it to be.
But for those few seconds, it felt good. It felt freeing.
To give it his all, and cry from simple frustration because he lost.
How troublesome.
-
TOPOP – Yasuda Shouta
If you think of it, immediate action!
What will happen, no need to worry about it!
Don’t think too much, Hi, immediate reply!
Appeal yourself, naturally it’s welcome
Go big, as long as you smile it’s fine!
Struck by the rain, blown by the wind, TOPOP!!!
Koganei isn’t stupid. He gets that something happened in the middle school basketball circuit. That made Hyuuga try to pretend he doesn’t care. That made Izuki care too much. That made Kiyoshi try to cover it with smiles and proclamations. That made Mitobe try to cover it with silence.
But Koganei wasn’t there. He never went through it. And because of that, he can pretend to not see it, the way everyone treats winning like it is an illusion that is about to disappear on them.
It’s fine. They’ll realise sooner or later. It’s all real.
They’ve won. They’re winners.
-
Much Better – Jonas Brothers
Now I've got some enemies
And they're all friends suddenly
BFF's eternally but I'm not bitter
I believe that the road that people lead
Helps you find the one you need
You're much better
“You are the superior Phantom Sixthman,” Akashi had said to him once. “You outrank him in every aspect.”
And I listen to your orders so much better too, Mayuzumi had thought, but did not say.
Sometimes Mayuzumi wished he was a better person who did not care about Akashi praising him.
At least, Mayuzumi could warm his cold, bitter heart that Akashi was probably just as bitter about everything, even more maybe. Certainly, he cared more about winning and basketball than Mayuzumi ever did, or ever would.
And Mayuzumi would keep it that way too. Nothing good comes of caring.

Tokeijikake no Umbrella (Clockwork Umbrella) – Arashi
Even if the rain keeps falling on the two of us
What’s important is that you’re here
Just warm up all the flowers of the future that bloomed for the two of us
Softly raise the gentle umbrella, let’s go
Takao doesn’t know what he expected from the Rakuzan match.
This was what he knew: Midorima had never won against Akashi. This mattered to him as much as Takao wanting to win against Midorima. But the difference was that Takao went from enemy to friend, while Akashi went from friend to enemy.
Maybe he expected Midorima to abandon them. Maybe he expected Midorima to use them as chess pieces. A continuation of the shougi game he always played with Akashi.
“I do not know of any that is a hindrance on this team.”
He didn’t expect this.
Midorima’s theirs now.

Lyrics translated by me except the DBSK ones that I got from lyricsmode.com
Thanks to @jcminwell post about J-World, I was able to find out about this place and visit for the grand opening of the new Kuroko no Basuke area!!! The line was crazy for the KnB minigame. It's called "Manager's Job". You pick Seirin shirts from a box and they have A-D on them. D is consolation prize, C gets you character pins to choose from, B gets you a card case, and A gets you a bag! I paid for 5 tries and got A, B, and Ds so I picked Akashi for my bag and Rakuzan for my case haha. We actually tried the food first since the line wasn't crazy. We got the Akashi set with the King shogi sandwich, Maji Burger set, Kise mango dessert, and Midorima matcha and red bean mousse dessert. Today's lucky item was a frog toy. :3 Each food item came with a special post card! J-World is located at the Sunshine 60 building on the 3rd floor. I didn't play any of the other games but it was fun eating knb menu items and getting the prize haha. Goku and Luffy were walking around too. Then I found the R18 MayuAka doujinshi from the Rakuzan Only event at Kbooks. OH Happy Day!
“So what we do, right,” said Aomine, “I saw this on a drama, we take a phone book, we smack him around on a body part that no one can see, and we say that if he tells anyone, we bang him for assaulting an officer and see he gets the death sentence for ratting us out.”
“Isn’t that… police… brutality?” said Wakamatsu, reduced to being the voice of reason.
“….can I smack him around anyway,” said Aomine, “I just really hate this bastard’s fucking face.”
jcminwell replied to your post: How do you think the dynamics are different between the GoM and the third year captains and players versus the second-years in their team? I find the differing attitudes between Wakamatsu and Imayoshi regarding Aomine and Ootsubo and the other Shuutoku players regarding Midorima very interesting...
great post but you’re not really answering the person’s question at all XD
