What should I do when I reach 1000 followers?

I am only 101 followers away from 1000. I feel like I should do something special when I reach 1000, but I don't know what. Any suggestions?

Big News for the Blog

It's a new year, and I am now going to add something new to this blog. For dramatic effect, I'm inserting a read more break here.

Drum roll please... 

And the new thing for the blog is...

... interviews!!!! That's right. I am going to start interviewing people who have careers in swords, mostly via email. Two people have already agreed to do interviews. I might be being a bit over dramatic here, but for me, this is a big deal. Please send me suggestions for interview questions and people to interview.

Final update for the night

8 votes so far. 4 for video games, 3 for templar/paladin/religious and 1 for ninjustu. I'll likely end the voting some time tomorrow. If more than one themes get more than 5 votes, I'll do both themes, starting with the one with the most votes.

Update on theme voting

As of right now, there have been 4 votes to decide next week's theme. 2 for video games, one suggesting ninjutsu and one suggesting templar/paladin/religious blades. I won't end the voting until there are at least 10 votes, but I would prefer more.

Vote for next theme week?

Next week is going to be a themed week. I was thinking either video games or Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus. You can vote on one of those themes, or for another theme (such as TV show, book series, movie, country, time period, etc) that you would like to see. I promise to do whatever theme has the most votes (I'm not sure when I'll end the voting) next week, even if it I've never heard of and have to look up. (Note: I won't do something that I feel was only submitted as a joke). Simply answer this post with your vote.

Would you rather use a saber or a rapier in a duel? (which ever sword you choose, you're set to dual someone wielding the other option)

That is a tough choice. A saber is a thicker and stronger sword, but I would have to say a rapier because I prefer a thrusting sword over a slicing sword.
