Tatsujun child Akira where his biological parents just leave him on one of those places you can kinda stop in the highway but you know there's nothing really there just a place to pull over, when he's about 4-5 and drive away because they are pieces of shit

After some hours, maybe half a day, Akira is still kinda sitting at the side of the road, when a car pulls over and he gets excited, thinking it's his parents coming back for him, even if he didn't think they would, because they always left him alone and said he was a burden.

It's not his parents. It's Tatsuya and Jun, who are kind of arguing (not really, in the 'I told you, this was the wrong exit now he gotta circle back and its an extra half an hour ffs you big dork' playful way) who immediately stop seeing a small child there sitting there, all alone, looking ready to start crying.

They ask him where are his parents and his just shrugs. He doesn't really talk, mostly nodding, the only verbal answer they got was his first name, but they manage to get that his parents left probably a while ago, he's not hurt and he's not from near Sumaru because he nodded yes when they asked him if they've been driving a long time before they stopped, but well kids don't really have a sense of time.

They think it was probably an emergency (maybe the car broke down or something or maybe someone needed their help or were in an accident, maybe Akira just wandered off while they stopped and they didn't notice until they drove away) and so Tatsuya called the station to see if there were any accident reports, calls about a missing child etc. When there wasn't any, they said they were going to wait with him and that's when Akira talks again, mumbling they weren't coming back and they always left him alone or said they should throw him out so they probably did just that, tearing up.

They get him back to the station in Sumaru, but because he's a little kid he doesn't really know where he lived exactly (they didn't let him out of the house much either apparently) or his last name (it was a surprise he knew his first name they learnt later because they usually just called him things like mistake and piece of shit) and from what they managed to get out of mumbling and non-verbal answers, he shouldn't go back anyway, his bio parents being neglectful assholes at best.

Tatsuya and Jun decide that's their child now and if his parents ever came back they were getting straight up murdered. Jun especially was ready to go full Joker on their ass.

Akira not only gets a pair of loving parents but a whole bunch of 'aunties and uncles', because you can't tell me the rest of the p2 cast wouldn't absolutely adore and dote on him constantly.
