Continuing my experimentation with wearing black. I like this jumper because it appear black from a distance but it obviously isn’t when you get closer.

Tomorrow onwards, we head into proper spring temperatures in the 20s (Celsius).

Suede and The Deep Blue Sea

I’m wearing the JEANSDA jeans once again and really enjoying them. They’re not as rigid as the name would suggest and were comfortable off the bat. This outfit is a little dressy but still fairly casual. The jeans work well with the suede and the olive of the linen shirt. I’ve chosen a belt that blended in with the rest of the outfit rather than standing out. I felt it suited the outfit better.

Taiwanese company JEANSDA reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in trying a pair of their jeans.Their products are designed in Taiwan and made in Japan. 

I’d never heard of them so I checked their site out.This has happened to me before and usually, the stuff being sold is nothing that fits my style so I would have to politely decline.

I was relieved and very happy that I really liked what I saw. JEANSDA make reproductions of classic workwear pieces with some very nice details. That’s right up my alley so I said yes.

I picked a pair of their slim cut jeans with the highest rise, the Fraser Indigo Rigid Selvedge jeans. Measurements can be found on the JEANSDA site.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be showcasing them in different outfits with a bit of a comparison to my jeans from Kapital and Orslow.

So far, I am extremely pleased with my choice. The high rise is great and I’m looking forward to wearing them a lot more.
