TOUMMMMMMM. It's not supposed to be complex so much as "Punch you in the nuts and slap your face around GARLIC" so like, sounds like you did it right.
I mean, it definitely is that. Though it’s a more delicate heat than I was expecting given previous experience!

Toum is SO GOOD. What are you eating it on? Are you prepared to smell like garlic for the next three days?
I keep looking at it and going “Oh...this is why people put mayonnaise on things.” I don’t like mayo at ALL but everything I’m thinking of putting it on, from hamburgers to @jeblaguejeblog’s suggestion of french fries, is something that people use mayo for. THIS IS WHAT LIFE CAN BE WHEN MAYO TASTES GOOD.

bold attempt to reclaim nug this close to 4/20.
That was my first thought as well but it may just be a bold and slightly belated attempt to cash in on 420. It feels like marketing for it really took off this year in a way it hasn’t in other years, and some brands didn’t manage to catch up in time.

Sam, your don't have a firstborn, but you do have a Dearborn. You'll still have your other daughter. *insert evol cakcle* :-)
NO. MY BABY DAUGHTER. She doesn’t understand hedge funds! I can’t trade her for a fictional hedge fund manager!
Chris Morocco doing like a Good Eats revival where he tells you wacky food history and sometimes there are sock puppets.
i had to google Good Eats and now i’m on board
send me you idea for a ba show
jeblaguejeblog replied to your post “I've been strolling through your tumblr and enjoying it quite a bit!...”
I have always maintained that S&S&Seamonsters is a better book than P&P&Zombies because the author had a better understanding of the source material and incorporated the monsters in a more cohesive way.
I haven’t read S&S&S but from what I recall of P&P&Z that sounds about right, because my take-away from the novel was that the concept and writing was decent, but not integrated with the original text at all well, which was where I really struggled.

^i see cannellini, i think they're beans
wendy-daahling replied to your post “thoughts on the fridge rocks?”
are you sure they aren't beans?
oh...yeah probably but like....why??
jeblaguejeblog replied to your post “thoughts on the fridge rocks?”
Are those scientific names or like pet names?
??
jeblaguejeblog replied to your post “We can now add cultured butter to the list of foods I made on a whim,...”
That sounds delicious
It was! But now I can never go back, at least for spreading on bread. That’s the worst part of this snobbery, it always creates terrible inconvenience.
jeblaguejeblog replied to your post “For the curious, this is the video I was watching when I felt...”
So weird. It’s obviously supposed to be sexy but it’s just NOT very sexy?
I agree -- this is one of the aspects that puzzles me. They’re so tame that I wonder why the person creating the video decided to do it this way at all. I’m half convinced this is all some weird front for something else entirely, but I’m not clever or hip enough to figure out what that other thing might be.
jeblaguejeblog replied to your photo “I’ve never made a callout post but Anna effington said my almond milk...”
It looks disgusting but I think you're onto something.
THANKS. LISTEN, IT TASTES REAL GOOD OKAY.
