"Alright, (Y/N)," Soda said from the door, "I'm gonna meet Steve, Evie, and Sandy over at the drive in, are you sure you don't want to come?" You wave Soda off from the couch, laughing lightly.
"Nah, I'm just gonna sit in and watch The Beverly Hillbillies." Your twin nodded, going out, leaving you alone since Ponyboy was staying with Johnny at Two-Bits, and Darry was going to be out cold all night. After about a half hour of television, there was a quiet knock on the front door. You felt the butterflies in your stomach and hopped off the couch, heading for the door.
"How ya doin' doll," he asked quietly, leaning on the door frame. You dragged him inside and to the couch,
"We have to be quiet because Darry is asleep," you explained. He lounged on the couch, taking up most of it, leaving you his lap to sit on. You sat on his lap and his looped his arms around your waist, holding you close. You watched a rerun of Gilligan's Island, giggling quietly and slapping your hand over Dal's mouth to keep him from talking.
Dally started kissing your neck, working his way up to your jaw. You turned to tell him to stop but he kissed your lips and you melted into it. You and Dally made out for most of an episode of Leave It To Beaver, stopping only because you heard Darry stirring in his bedroom. You pull away from Dally, putting your hand over his lips to keep him to kissing you or protesting.
"Darry might be waking up," you whisper, trying to ignore Dal's hands roaming over your rear end. You shot him and look and quickly scrambled off of his lap. "Knock it off, if Darry catches you, he'll kill us both!" Dally laughed and you slapped you hand back over his mouth. "If you can keep your trap shut for a few minutes, I'll get my coat and we'll get out of here." Dally got up with you and walked out of the door just as Darry came stumbling into the living room.
"What are you still doing up," he yawned, stretching his arms over his head as he headed into the bathroom.
"Just watching reruns," you squeaked, stretching your arms in a show, hoping he'd buy it. He looked around the living room tiredly and the looked towards the bathroom with a shrug.
"Well, goodnight, (Y/N)," he said, going into the bathroom. You let out a sigh and grabbed your coat before slipping out the front door, meeting Dallas out on the front porch.
"Okay, let's go." You took Dally's hand and headed towards Buck's.You had managed to get to the park before Dally pressed you into a tree and began kissing you again, his fingers tangling in your hair as he pulled you to his lips.
"Dally," you managed between kisses, "we're almost to Buck's, can't you just wait?" You wrapped your arms around his shoulders and pulled him closer to you. You had been in the park for several minutes, making out against the tree, when you heard three very familiar voices.
"Come on Pony," Two-bit jeered somewhere behind you, "just admit it, you though that new red haired gal was hot!" Dally pulled away from you with a groan and rolled his eyes.
"Lay off, Two," Pony said, and they rounded the tree, coming into view.
"Well, lookie here, gentle men," Two cheered, looking between you and Dally, and you prayed it was dark enough that the three boys couldn't see the shame on your face at almost being caught.
"What's going on, guys," Johnny asked, his hands buried deep in his pockets.
"Grown up stuff," Dally mumbled, leaning his shoulder into the tree and you shot him a glare, thinking maybe he'd just told Pony what was going on between the two of you.
"We were just going over to a party at Buck's," you explained, lying to your baby brother.
"Hey, I'll ditch these two and join ya," Two-bit laughed, and Dally shook his head.
"Nah, these two need someone to look after them." He nodded and laughed, slapping both of the younger boys on the back.
"You're right, they'd cause too much trouble if they were to go unwatched!"
"Be less trouble than if we were with you," Pony grumbled, shaking the older boy off, making everyone laugh.
"We ought to get going if we're going to make that party," you said, sticking your hand into your pockets, kicking at something on the ground.
"Alright," the three boys said, looking at you two.
"You better take care of her, Dal," Ponyboy said, laughing at his own joke, knowing you could take care of herself.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of her," he assured, giving you a little wink, making you blush. You all split up, going off in your own ways, you and Dal heading towards Buck's, Two-bit, Pony, and Johnny heading in the opposite direction. You got the Buck's and there was a party at Buck's, but it was small, mostly just Buck's rodeo buddies. Dally dragged you up the stair to his room, closing the door and shutting out most of the music from the party downstairs.
"Finally alone," Dally sighed as you two sat on his bed. You yawn and lay back, your arms stretched over your head. Dally laid down next to you and rolled onto his side, throwing an arm over you.
"We could do anything we want to," you sigh, your eyes closing, draping an arm over his shoulders. Within minutes, the two of you were snoring peacefully, wrapped around each other.
