Sharky Boshaw's home. Which isn't located in Moonflower Trailer Park. This raises some questions about why he has his whole setup there and has that note in the laundry facilities if he doesn't actually live there. Like, does he own the place, and he's the landlord? Or does nobody actually live there, and it's his personal playground?

My theory is that his grandparents owned the trailer park back in the day, but by the time they willed it to Sharky, nobody wanted to live there anymore because of the cult, so he used the place as his disco inferno with the perk of on-site laundry facilities since there are no laundromats in Hope County. That's his happy place when he's not working his day job, which I've theorized in the past could be an EMT, because of how successful he is at resing the player. Though I'll have to do a test to find out conclusively, it seems like he's the best at resing you in the heat of battle.

babe, most fanfic writers write because

they love the characters

they are not normal about the characters

they are passionate about the characters

they are depressed and writing about the characters is their getaway

they are horny

canon compliance is only a choice. but there’s no rule in fanfics. and most fanfic writers are sure as shit not trying to be respectful to the multi billion companies that made the characters, and if you actually believe they are, then maybe you’re just new to fandoms.

This sounds fake but the logic behind it is actually really interesting? She said obsession with a new fandom triggers quick dopamine release when we consume all this related content--it's easy and addictive.

What we're NOT getting is that 'slow dopamine' that's more sustainable and engaging. That's the kind we get from DOING things that take effort but are ultimately rewarding.

So like, she suggested that writing fic and making fanart are ways to balance the quick dopamine of watching a show/reading fic with the slow dopamine of working at something that takes effort.

Moral of the story is you should engage in the process of creation around your favorite things. You'll feel better for it.

This "the Wachowski Sisters stole the Matrix" thing is based on a lawsuit that was dismissed in 2004. The judges explanation of dismissal is nearly 60 pages detailing each claim and Sophia Stewart was never awarded copyright ownership of these franchises and never won any element of the case. It isn't an ongoing lawsuit and the story is often used by folks as a fundraising scam.

The same story was going around when I was in highschool more than 10 years ago, nearly word for word I swear, just change the most recent/upcoming court dates. If I found what was circulating back then it wouldn't surprise me if the reference numbers were the same.

The above image looks like its giving references, but is it? In which court were these actions filed by the plaintiff? How is anybody supposed to check this?

This is simply not true. It takes advantage of the fact that the intellectual property of poc is routinely stolen, it takes advantage of a community that wants justice for that, and it creates a climate of doubt... there is real work being stolen, but this isn't it.

If there's one thing I have learned, it's that life is a resilient thing which doesn't ever end before death. That even if the worst thing you could imagine happens and you have to drop out of school or your partner leaves you or you lose your job or someone dies or you've had to survive abuse or you begin to struggle severely with your mental or physical health or even if you've had to survive events so terrible that most people could never relate, if you do manage to survive it, your life will eventually grow around it and within it, and it won't continue to be the only thing to define your existence. I'm not saying that you can't die or even that these things don't kill. Lots of forces in this world do kill. But as long as you're still here, your life will continue to grow around and within everything you might face.
