Cameron Crowe and Jeff Bhasker with Harry at the Grammy Museum, 15September2017 (x)
Jeff Bhasker is the guest on the latest episode of Ross Golan's ...And The Writer Is podcast and shares some lovely stuff about recording HS1 with Harry, and his songwriting approach.
Hii! I'm kinda new to the fandom (only 2 months) and I was listening to Woman this morning and I got curious who the man talking at first is? Do you perhaps know?
Love your blog 💘
Hi dear,
I had to search for this one. I thought it was Tyler Johnson or Mitch, because they were in Jamaica with H when he was writing and recording the songs for HS1. But I found a note on Genius, and checked the video, and it's actually Alex Salibian:
Alex is an Armenian-American music producer signed to Jeff Bhasker's production company, Kravenworks. They were both in Jamaica as well. Alex produced and co-wrote all of HS1, with writing credits and/or producing credits in all songs.
Here are the credits for Woman:

FINE LINE: Songwriting credits on Apple Music
🥳🥳Fine Line is One🥳🥳
So Fine Line is officially a year old now in the UK. Happy Birthday!
When I say this album means a lot to me I have never meant it more than I do right now.
This past year has proved that anything can happen and music has been a safe haven through all of it. Especially Fine Line.
I vividly remember the night that Light’s Up was released and ever since then, whenever I listen to it, I am taken back to that time. When all of us were so excited to have new Harry music. He was coming back!
This era has been a whirlwind. Filled with such positivity and celebration. Harry has received countless awards, recognition and is even nominated for 3 Grammys! 3 bloody Grammys!!
From freaking out over the Eroda promos where we thought we were joining a cult, to Harry performing with Stormzy & Lizzo, to Stevie giving Harry all the support and love, to music video teasers and releases, to making history on the cover of Vogue, to appearances on talk shows and hosting SNL, to performances that may not have been planned (stupid COVID) but we watched and loved them anyway. There is so much more to mention but I’d be here forever. I have gained so many friends this past year due to Harry and this album.
I have always said that music is the closest thing we have to real magic. I stand by that. Music bridges gaps and brings people together from all different walks of life. All because we love the art that’s created and we love the person/people that made it.
Harry I cannot wait to see you live again, with one of my best friends, when that day finally comes and we most certainly will have the time of our lives.
Thank you for creating something that means so much to so many, and for so many different reasons. You truly made something beautiful and raw.
As Abba would say,
“THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC.”

From the new album The Otherside.
Music mogul Merck Mercuriadis raised hundreds of millions of dollars to buy the rights to hits by Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars. Is he…
This is insane. Bonkers.
