hamefura characters react to you coming out (from that one onion article)
Which of the Princes will be the most susceptible to Dark Magic?
A thought as my brain goes through a plot I hope to write at one point. Here are my thoughts on the matter. This is less of who is more susceptible and moreso how they might be susceptible.
Geordo - I think Geordo, all things considered, can be more easily influenced by Dark Magic depending on how it's done. Geordo is less susceptible to subtle manipulation, but more susceptible to spur of the moment manipulation. He can handle and avoid sly and subtle acts, but if he's already upset or angry (or any intense emotion, such as his outburst in vol. 8), then the dark magic only needs to try and amplify those emotions. Fuel an already existing fire per say rather than start a new one.
Alan - for Alan, I think it would be more or less the opposite of Geordo. He's okay at controlling his emotions in intense moments (being able to control himself enough to not join Geordo in his outburst and rather be one of the first to snap him out of it), but perhaps not too skilled in avoiding subtle attempts. Alan's dislike also leads me to believe that he's getting better at avoiding subtle manipulation (cough, except when it comes to Geordo and Mary, cough).
Geoffrey - here's a fun one, because I do think Geoffrey might be fighting against dark magic somehow in the LN (pointedly Suzanna noting he's been developing dark circles under his eyes). Geoffrey is probably the one strongest against dark magic and least susceptible to its effects. Mostly because he's been likely researching dark magic incidents alongside Suzanna and that he's more aware of the dangers and effects. He probably needs to be whittled down somehow for dark magic to be effective against him..
Ian - and then we have Ian. Who, honestly, with what information we have on him, I think might be the weakest against dark magic. For one, he hasn't been in the sphere of dark magic like his brothers. Geoffrey had been researching it, Geordo had first hand experience during both Raphael's incident and Keith's kidnapping, and Alan had experience during Raphael's incident. Ian's the only one not directly affected or involved in dark magic. Selena was the only target and he only saw her after she recovered. He likely doesn't know the full effects beyond what it can be done through text. Two, how his personality is leads me to this idea as well. He's more reserved, and how he carries himself around Selena early on leads me to believe that there might be weak spots. He might be open to manipulation due how he tried to suppress his emotions during then. He might have some still lingering doubts as well afterwards (since his lack of care around Selena supposedly led to her manipulation by dark magic).
So, those are my thoughts, what do you think?
Bakarina is so dumb, she’ll even mistake her fiancé kissing her as a dream :’3
HOW?!
Anyway, soft episode, we learnt so much about the princes as they grew up. Jeffery is a great big brother TvT
I saw your recent ask/answer regarding the eldest princes from Hamefura. In a small follow-up to that question, in AO3 I saw some authors characterize Geoffrey/Jeoffrey as "two-faced" (or four-faced). What is your take on it, with the info we have?
It’s true, the light novels does imply that Geoffrey is to-faced to some extent. He’s like those character that portray themselves as carefree but hides a devious and calculating side, kind of like Drang from Granblue Fantasy or like Shigure from Fruits Basket. He loves his brother a lot (and by a lot, I mean it to the point of maybe-obsession) and will do everything to take down any force that can harm them. He doesn’t really care about the throne, but at least has to put a false facade and pretend he does in order to fool people in his faction to continue to support him (and entice others to join his side too) so he can snuff out the suspicious nobles. To some extent I think I’m giving too much credit when it comes to how I imagine his calculating side, but it’s how I see him based on what he has.
There isn’t a lot of content that has him yet, just tidbits from Volume 3, but its not that hard to discern his personality from there.
Thank you for the ask! :DD

Royal Family Headcanons
Basically a compiled list of all the headcanons I’ve shoved onto the Stuart family that I’ve developed in fics and some I’ve found the fandom to collectively give them.
Alan Stuart
- has unstable magic that can affect his health if he overexterts himself
- has a way with animals (they love him, snakes included)
- gets into tree climbing competitions w/ Katarina a lot more regularly
- pretty much shoots down any false rumor about his friends (especially Geordo) the moment they show up
- as kids, he’s was Geordo’s “snake remover” (courtesy of Cutekittenlady)
- has the magical potential to make ice, just takes a lot of work
- his hunting jacket used to be Geoffrey’s
- can dance the ‘lady’s’ part extremely well
Geordo Stuart
- fire magic is affected by his emotional state
- literally a tsundere in regards to brotherly affection/feels
- subconsciously possessive/protective over his entire friend group (Katarina and Alan in particular)
- panics (internally) for a moment whenever things don’t go according to plan
- that one character who thinks about the worst case scenarios when things go wrong before anything else
Ian Stuart
- has either earth or fire magic
- easily gets flustered when his guards are down/focus is suddenly shifted to him
- knows how to pick locks
- frustrated with whatever Geoffrey is doing/is hiding
- is five years older than Geordo and Alan
- loves to read (just nothing explicit)
Geoffrey Stuart
- has either light or water magic
- is very good with a sword, his brothers still can’t beat him in a duel
- extremely skilled combatant
- very manipulative when dealing with his “faction”
- insanely overprotective
- is eight years older than Geordo and Alan (three years older than Ian)
- keeps trying to deter Ian’s suspicions on what he’s doing
- cares more about the wellbeing of his brothers regardless how much he dirties his hands
Regulus Stuart
- has water magic
- very close friends with Dan Ascart
- is very good at being king, but dense when it comes to romance (Alan got it from somewhere, Geoffrey too maybe)
- loves the queen very dearly
- excellent swordsman
- nickname is ‘Reg’ (only special people call him by nickname in private)
Solaris Stuart
- has blonde hair
- has fire magic
- very good at navigating the court
- protective momma bear
- has her own ‘acts’ and masks when in court (Geordo and Geoffrey got it from somewhere)
- does all the romantic heavy lifting
- Don’t mess with the queen
((Solaris and Regulus are the king and queen’s h/c names until we are given canon ones. Maybe be expanded upon in the future))

Ohhh....how about some Geoffrey and Suzanna stuff? For the cauterization prompt.
Suzanna runs into some major trouble while undercover, and is hurt badly enough that the only thing Geoffrey can do to prevent things from going catastrophic is cauterization on a cut that's bleeding too much. (According to Wikipedia you can cauterize a wound with cold too...)
I finally got around to this prompt and I hope you enjoy it!
