Luigi was furious for how the Royals and the Magic Ministry are dealing with the dark magic conflict. I mean, they're leaving everything to two young girls.

Luigi is right, the Magic Ministry should have known for a while ago how to deal with black magic. The king and queen just wanted to hid everything the family did and failed to plan how to deal with it the next time something happend. Even if they're acting in the shadows now, they just waited until something happened again.

I doubt Geordo is aware Katarina is going to the border tho. He was sick the previous night so he will probably be informed late. Oh he's going to explode again LOL

I actually really love how the Queen’s design is based on the female!Geordo design from Manga Volume 2′s Bonus Story. From the crown’s shape, the big earrings that no other characters have, a distinct pendant on the chord of the cape and the the way the cape drapes over their shoulders. I don’t know if it was the anime staff who design her or if it’s Hidaka Nami, but I love the reference, it makes the genderbent design make perfect sense lmao

Royal Dragons AU

Queen Stuart is actually a dragon who has taken human form, making the four princes half-dragons. They can turn into dragons - no taller than a big horse at the shoulder because they are young by dragon standards and because they are half-human. Dragons posses magic other than the elements, like the ability to talk with their minds since they can’t speak human language while in dragon form. Also, Dragons subconsciously mark their treasures with their magic signature to warn other dragons against stealing.

Gerald has fire-breath while Alan has ice-breath due to being a water mage. The twins’ “treasure” are their friends, which is odd since dragons don’t usually share treasure between themselves; the Queen believes that it’s a combination of human influence and being twins. Gerald’s greatest treasure is Katarina (obviously) while Alan’s is Mary - which surprises her when she learns about it.

Geoffrey’s treasures are his brothers but also his fiancée, something he only realizes after almost succumbing to draconic rage from seeing her harmed. Ian’s most valuable treasure is his fiancée, Selena.

The Queen’s treasure is her husband, her children, and the Kingdom of Sorcier as a whole.

I’m thinking that this could be a five-chaptered story about the Queen and her sons each tell their significant other about their true nature. The first chapter would be the Queen telling her husband while they are still engaged. The rest would be one for each prince telling their fiancées, in order from eldest to youngest.

Royal Family Headcanons

Basically a compiled list of all the headcanons I’ve shoved onto the Stuart family that I’ve developed in fics and some I’ve found the fandom to collectively give them. 

Alan Stuart

- has unstable magic that can affect his health if he overexterts himself

- has a way with animals (they love him, snakes included)

- gets into tree climbing competitions w/ Katarina a lot more regularly 

- pretty much shoots down any false rumor about his friends (especially Geordo) the moment they show up 

- as kids, he’s was Geordo’s “snake remover” (courtesy of Cutekittenlady) 

- has the magical potential to make ice, just takes a lot of work

- his hunting jacket used to be Geoffrey’s 

- can dance the ‘lady’s’ part extremely well

Geordo Stuart 

- fire magic is affected by his emotional state

- literally a tsundere in regards to brotherly affection/feels 

- subconsciously possessive/protective over his entire friend group (Katarina and Alan in particular) 

- panics (internally) for a moment whenever things don’t go according to plan

- that one character who thinks about the worst case scenarios when things go wrong before anything else

Ian Stuart 

- has either earth or fire magic 

- easily gets flustered when his guards are down/focus is suddenly shifted to him

- knows how to pick locks

- frustrated with whatever Geoffrey is doing/is hiding

- is five years older than Geordo and Alan 

- loves to read (just nothing explicit) 

Geoffrey Stuart 

- has either light or water magic 

- is very good with a sword, his brothers still can’t beat him in a duel

- extremely skilled combatant 

- very manipulative when dealing with his “faction”

- insanely overprotective 

- is eight years older than Geordo and Alan (three years older than Ian) 

- keeps trying to deter Ian’s suspicions on what he’s doing

- cares more about the wellbeing of his brothers regardless how much he dirties his hands 

Regulus Stuart 

- has water magic 

- very close friends with Dan Ascart

- is very good at being king, but dense when it comes to romance (Alan got it from somewhere, Geoffrey too maybe) 

- loves the queen very dearly 

- excellent swordsman 

- nickname is ‘Reg’ (only special people call him by nickname in private) 

Solaris Stuart 

- has blonde hair

- has fire magic 

- very good at navigating the court

- protective momma bear

- has her own ‘acts’ and masks when in court (Geordo and Geoffrey got it from somewhere) 

- does all the romantic heavy lifting 

- Don’t mess with the queen 

((Solaris and Regulus are the king and queen’s h/c names until we are given canon ones. Maybe be expanded upon in the future))
