Read YRWYS here, by the wonderful @1-800-sat-anic
Slightly shorter comp than usual Immediately decided to draw up random dumb Jekkad armor n clothes because reasons (zero willpower), yes that is reader in nothin but a helmet lmaooo
Just seconds away to realise... he was betrayed by his own servants and his beloved world doomed... before he felt nothing but hatred.
Why do I feel like Davoth was playing favoritism over his creations, I reread his backstory and the fact that he only created the Maykrs to seek Immortality for the people of Jekkad.
I know that the people of Jekkad were the first to come into existence, and even their creator was born there; perhaps I'm wrong and misreading the situation; Jekkad is the first to exist, that's a fact!
I won't be surprised if Davoth cherished it as a whole, therefore wanting to make it a paradise for the people.
It'll be funny if he did play favorites:
The people of Jekkad would be the 'eldest' and has more attention from Davoth
The Maykrs are the middle child bc they're just there to fulfill their purpose; Davoth pays no mind except for their work.
The rest (humans and lesser beings) are the youngest and Davoth forgot about them.
This is just a thought I have so I don't mind being proven wrong!
DOOM Headcannon #25
Davoth loved Jekkad so much that he took a part of his soul and embedded it with it when he first created the place for his beloved creations.
Making him part of Jekkad ITSELF, meaning he can control the environment. And it serves as an explanation for me on how Jekkad became Hell itself, of course we know that The Dark Lord's anger at the Maykr's Betrayal has caused it, but I wanted to add to it!
Also that Hell became sentient if you get what I'm saying, the more invasions demons go on, the more Hell spreads and leeches on each world's life like a parasite. Since it holds part of the Dark Lord's soul and keeps it alive, meaning that Hell became its own being.
DOOM Headcannon #12
(Before the fall of Jekkad and the Betrayal)
Despite Davoth creating the father and the Maykrs for the sole purpose of discovering Immortality, he began to see the father as his son. They both are compassionate and engaged with the beings they seek to bring happiness and peace in their lives with no worries. Even with the father created with a portion of Davoth's own life essence, it makes him an interesting exception; he is Immortal like his creator.
(Davoth was experimenting with his abilities when first creating the father)
This results in Davoth treating the father like his very own, even going as far as bestowing a gift for the Father for his hard work, inviting him to festivities or just a chat with him.
The father recognizes this, too, and is touched by the gesture and behavior.
(though the Father wishes the same gesture from Davoth towards the maykrs-)
Has anyone thought of what the denizens of Jekkad looked or acted like before becoming corrupted and hellish?
Considering that they were once a functioning society, their way of life is COMPLETELY different to what they now live in. I'm still firm on them looking animalistic and other worldly creatures but I think they might've looked 'less scary' (if that's the right word for it).
Also they might've been a more civil before instead of animalistic and cruel (They're still intelligent to an extent but now it's clouded by rage and animalistic instincts).
Other than that, this is a thought I had today!
