I blame the producers on the lack off Melko content. They are indirectly responsible because they broke them up and I believe less people want to post content about a sinking ship. Hacy is still a new mystery so I think more people are excited and intrigued about it right now. So of course it's everywhere.

As much as I love Melko, it's true. They fucked over Niko from day one. It's probably very hard for a lot of people to get into a ship when the show is constantly selling a doom and gloom message in relation to them.

It's probably why so many people, myself included, got very invested in Melda when it came along. Because we loved Mel and wanted her to be happy and, since the show was trying to tell us that Mel couldn't be happy with Niko, we wanted her to move on with someone she could be happy with.

They kinda shot themsevles in the foot though with bringing Niko back. It proved she could be happy with either. Although some of us poly-shipped Jelko, a lot of people tried to turn it into a ship war of Melko vs Melda which divided the fandom.

After that, the show then tries to tell us that neither relationship would work so it disappointed a lot of fans so it dropped down to only a handful of Melko and Melda shippers each. Even fewer of us Jelko shippers. There used to be a large fanbase for all three ships.it was just as big as Hacy, if not bigger but now it's all gone.

So this idea that Hacy fans producing content somehow reduces the amount of Melko fics makes no sense to me. It's not like there is a maximum amount of fics allowed in the fandom. When a Hacy fan hits post it doesn't automatically delete a Melko story.

Jeez the mental gymnastics that had to be done to figure out their ages lol. Okay so we have Maggie at 18, Mel 26, Macy 29, and Harry 37. Btw how do you think they will deal with Harry not aging if he is going to be with Macy? She will continue to age, while he won't. Also, I think that the Hacy ship is so strong right now because they broke everyone else up at the end of the season, so we don't know who Maggie and Mel will be with next season. I shipped Melko too but they destroyed it!

My guess is if Rupert starts to visibly age the writers will probably turn Harry mortal.

Currently, I am still shipping Mel x Niko x Jada and Maggie x Lucy x Parker unless they give us a better option next season.

Yup. Melada has a better chance of getting back together than Melko considering the way each relationship ended. And that's not saying much because Melada was screwed over too. But they REALLY screwed over Melko...TWICE!!

At this point, I don't know if either Melko or Melda have any chance of reunion. If so both are fairly miniscule.

Until the show presents a better option, I will keep shipping my OT3 of Jelko, Jada x Mel x Niko, though.

The producers just couldn't let Melko be great. They should still be together :(

Maybe they could bring her back later. I doubt it but I am hopeful. I would love Niko back even if she doesn't reunite with Mel. Hell if they wanted to they could bring Niko and Jada back and pair them together. They had great chemistry too. Though my ideal would be a poly ship.
